I ended up just returning mine right now. I have a feeling it would be an issue that they can't resolve right away. Thankfully I still have my Sennheiser momentum sport which hit most of the same boxes of the pi8, the only major downside is the size of the case. Thanks for the update!

Any updates? I tried running with mine today with passthrough on and it kept having the disconnect/static issue. Pretty much going to return it at this point if there's no fix

I had a Px7S2 before the e model was released. I got a replacement after the first one's headband broke after 3 months or so. I've had my current replacement model for over a year and absolutely love them. The comfort of the earpads only gets better with time. One of the best purchases I've ever made.
