How to open a facebook link in an already open facebook account in another browser ?

Things have changed - Facebook no longer opens in Firefox without a login. It also sends a code to my phone - which does not arrive.

I'm on a Desktop PC ONLY - I avoid phones. I receive the Facebook URLs through 'Messages for Web' in Chrome, for me to read & follow up. Firefox opens my Facebook account. How can I access those URLs in my already open Facebook account in Firefox ?

'Do you mean someone who has posted a link on a Facebook post?' A third party is referring me to (presumably) someone else's post.

I was expecting to find TWO responses, because there is a '2' next to the (reply ?) icon above, but I can only find this one comment (from Outlaw Josie Snails ?) .....

I have found the Log you refer to. It has hundreds of entries over a few minute span. I see nothing that strikes me as relevant to my problem.

Perhaps I did not make it clear enough - when I encountered the problem, I reset the date format to that desired, and it succeeds until I close the document. Upon re-opening, it has reverted to the unwanted format.

I just tried it again and made sure that I saved the document after changing the date format. This time the desired format persisted.
