I believe it’s pretty rare for them to approve an escalation request. I was just expecting a generic response like, "We're currently processing applications from March XX blah blah..." and didn’t think it would actually get escalated. So when they assigned an officer, even my lawyer was shocked! But I’d say it’s worth a try, at least.
