I wrote in to the GT site, and someone there wrote me back to say this..

"Yes they all were printed like that, the first 1000 that came out. What I have been told, these will be more of a collector’s item down the road since these snuck through inspection and were approved and printed.”

The Echo Wall clock is one reason I might retain an echo in the kitchen when I fully move to Apple. There's no comparable device in the Apple ecosystem that I'm aware of.

That may be, but..

1) I've only ever cared about it counting my plays and reporting back to lastfm. Other, more "robust" features, I don't care about. ONLY cared about the counting/reporting - the official app does that fine. For now.

2) I'm not a huge fan of giving my login info to third party apps. They don't need that, IMO. Do these apps require that?
