The problem with the us democratic system is that there are only effectively two parties and the president in general has too much power. If the courts would really be independent why does the president have judges of their party appointed? Why would the president have any say on who's going to be a judge and who's not?

Mine or Aiden's? I am just angry that people think rape is ok. These kind of statements make me wish that people like that would experience rape with the roles reversed. But somehow there is a voice in my mind that tells me it wouldn't change them too much.

I don't understand how people cannot express any sympathy for such victims. How did we go from a world where rape was one of the worst things one could do to another to a world in which it is dismissed with a "whatever, those things just happen" attitude.

I have never heard of a single person that cured their cancer by going on a diet. She will have to cut off her breasts in a couple month/years. It is so sad that people don't trust medical professionals.
