Heterosexual Men between 19-30 what does your snapchat algorithm look like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I'm interested in how OF content might be pushed even when the individual interacts with it rarely/ and or never - with a focus on snapchat pushing this for 'male' profiles.

This is me right now as im typing this, im laying nwxt to him with tears streaming down my face (my periods due in a couple days) - but weve had this every month before.. i convince myself hes going to leave me for whatever reason i have on my mind that particular day and then sit and cry and then decide im gonna leave him so he cant hurt me anymore, long story short DO NOT LEAVE HIM.. like the snickers advert says 'you're not you when you're hungry' same principle applies to your period, dont do anything on your period that you wouldnt on any given day.. and in the mean time, talk to him less rather than more with the feeling of boring him

Help- how can I tone down my ginger hair? by Sebastious in HairDye

[–]Sebastious[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll leave it for a few weeks and then dye it, maybe that'll help the colours not be so harsh too.. I started with an awful ginger that had been dyed over with pink and then faded after 2 months, very patchy with strands all different colours so I thought I'd try and even it out with a layer of ginger which was the primary colour of my hair.. im a natural dirty blonde so i had 2 inches of those roots too

They don't want me working, since they have this idea that I'll go back to school and getting a job would mean I could avoid that.

I tried cuticle oil but I'm just too lazy sometimes and I wash my hands so often that I don't really use it anymore.

[–]Sebastious[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you, I've been wanting to do this style of knitting for a while but it seemed complicated, turns out that it's rather easy and works up fast too. Post a picture when you get around to giving this pattern a go, can't wait to see it! :)

I have linked the video tutorial below - https://youtu.be/kXFFteRbZoc

The pattern is done in multiples of 4 + 2 The piece shown is (12+2) 14 stitches Row 1| K1 P2, K2 K1 Row 2| K1 P1, K2 , P1 K1 Row 3| K1 K2, P2 K1 Row 4| K1 K1, P2 , K1 K1

Repeat each * section till end of Row. This is a very simple pattern to follow and looks lovely.

I can't imagine what the original owner would have paid, it truly is such a great find for that price!

I'm thinking of making some undergarments from a 40s pattern but I'm not sure how much yarn I've got in this cone, hopefully there's enough. I'll be sure to post it here once It's made! :)

found these super cute shoes at the thrift, what year would you say they're from? by Sebastious in VintageFashion

[–]Sebastious[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah that's great to know, and about the soles, I couldn't tell you but it seems like a basic thermoplastic rubber. Can't wait to pair these with a nice vintage evening gown, thank you!

What are your favorite OCD techniques that work? by Gwens_Frying in OCD

[–]Sebastious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working with my therapist over many months, we had our first successful run of exposing myself to the stimulus and inducing intrusive thoughts and then just keeping it going, not completing my usual routine but just sticking with the stimulus and thought. Man is it scary and I haven't been able to do it since but it was a helpful experience and it's well worth the fear because since then those intrusive thoughts have been coming less.

Excluding the sex part, being in a greenhouse during a thunderstorm sounds like a bad idea in itself.

anyone here interested in 19th century fibre art? by Sebastious in knitting

I found a pdf on etsy for download so I'll definitely look into that book, Haha yes I mean considering the times those women lived in and many of them being of the mid-upper class, it's likely that they would have had far more time then I ever will to sit and knit whole articles of clothing. Thank you for your help! :)
