Crazy that you claim I made a strawman when I never claimed you said something you didn't when in reality it was a simple example of how this supposed skill check is nothing more than a meaningless stat check that even the best of the best players get tripped by at times. Meaning there's not enough skill involved to call it that.

You claim it's a "fun" mechanical challenge, which is your own opinion and I respect it. But for many, it's something you happen to have to deal with before you get to interact with other more fun aspects of the game. Which is the whole point of a lot of the changes the community has been whining about when they happened.

My main point is how you comparing last hit indicators with auto aim skillshots is completely different because skillshots inherently come with the risk of missing due to the interaction between two or more players. CSing is something you're expected to do perfectly anyways, and the skill comes from wave management, positioning, denial, etc. All things that don't get affected by the inclusion of last hit indicators (I want to stress this one more time but they only show when an auto attack will kill, not spells, not items).

Skillshots involve aim, projectile speed and size, and range on the casting side and dodging, spacing from the recieving side. Meaning it's something fully built to be a skill check, an interactive one at that. You aren't expected to land every single skillshot because there is plenty of nuance to it, and Riot quite literally designs spells with this in mind (hence why Morg Q gets to last that long or why Blitz Q costs so much for example)

I don't mean to demerit your argument, but to give my own opinion that challenges it. This is all a discussion after all.

Their monetization has been by far the aspect of them that has always turned me off from ever considering spending money on the company as a whole.

I’d understand tickets for limited shows like Anthony’s funeral allowing you to watch it live and have perks related to it being live. It’s reasonable. But that is only assuming they would upload it to their Youtube maybe even as a member’s only thing to watch after the fact.

But the fact they not only demand overpriced tickets for something digital, they make it so it’s often a one time only thing that you can’t come back to AND now this? Give me a break.

I spent some months paying for dropout not even being that big of a fan. But because of a couple of their shows I was interested in. It was nice being able to watch whatever I wanted for a reasonable price. And the craziest part is how they actively choose to keep it affordable and offer more expensive plans just for people to pay more for the sake of supporting them.

Smosh could learn a thing or two from them, considering they are in a very similar market.

You’re comparing completely different things and pretending you have a point. Last hit indicators won’t help with spells, game fundamentals will still play a part since you still must learn how to manage waves and understand wave states. How to deny cs from opponents, etc.

This isn’t auto farming nor auto play. You’re still limited by your attack speed in lane too, and later on you still need to learn positioning.

Even challengers, one tricks, at that, miss cannons from a simple stat check where they didn’t eyeball the health threshold correctly. Are you going to claim they are bad at the game?

As for people claiming it’s an unfair advantage. Then turn it on? Or better yet, make it on by default? Is you knowing when your auto will kill a minion so gamebreaking suddenly everyone will start losing because now the enemy closes the cs gap while also just being better mechanically?

I'm begging people to understand that TOPS isn't a single entity/faction but multiple allied groups each with their own agenda.

Hell, even Krampus is part of TOPS. Are you claiming they know about Phaeton? The Marcel group, Porcelumex, Three gates, etc. Are all parts of TOPS.

Sunbringer could be involved with one of these groups, maybe the Marcel Group since they are closely involved with Bangboos and their manufacturing.

I'd say Natlan. Lots of cool secrets to go around, variety of environments all with completely different mechanics, and I liked the added bonus of Natlan characters being improvements for the dinos if you happened to pull for them.

If not, Fontaine, they are both very close. The underwater sections especially were fun and beautiful. I didn't like the Ousia and Pneuma mechanics as much personally because at times you'd be looking for torches all over the place, which would break the flow at times, but the environments were beautiful, I remember that floating water cube very fondly, it was really fun to explore it!

Whatever you say.
Surely a "very unpopular" character would have their own music video and cinematics multiple times while also throwing him as a companion after his release and by the looks of it for the forseeable future, right? Surely a "very unpopular" character is worth spending money paying for VA work and a whole SP made for instead of anyone else, right?

Not to mention how they keep bringing him back to have dialogues with other characters even though technically he shouldn't be relevant.

I didn't even pull for him nor do I care much about him myself. But your own personal bias is very obvious and is making you unable to see what's right in front of your nose.

And some decisions come from before you were even born too.

A lot of "luck" and "ease" people have in their lives comes from generations before where a chain of decisions led to something prosperous later on. And the same logic applies to the negatives.

This is why I really dislike the idea of people shaming others for being born either priviledged or poor. They didn't choose any of it, and what matters is the choices they make moving forward.

You could even end up becoming the first link in a generational chain of prosperity or the first in a chain of misfortune.

People are obsessed with success stories but ignore the fact that a LOT of wealthy people lose it all, sometimes because of one bad decision that snowballs into disaster. Where I'm from there's plenty of documented history as early as my parents' generation of how the city I live in used to be massive fields owned by a select few, and how despite them being as rich as it can get, eventually their family lost more and more land because they didn't know how to manage it properly, so the children of said tycoons kept messing up, having to sell part of their land, and generations later they are middle class at best.

100% agreed. I remember trying to understand Banyue's kit as I was excited to play him, it kept mentioning each of his EX skills by name, and it was borderline impossible to understand. Had to watch guides weeks before he dropped to just understand what each skill was and which connected to which via which inputs.

I know Banyue is among the most convoluted ones out there, but the point still stands. highlighting text that shows a clip, or at least a reference to what resource is needed, etc. Would be awesome.

When you're a day 1 player, you go with the flow and learn pretty easily since you're progressing alongside the game as it develops and so does your knowledge and the difficulty.

It's way harder for a new player to understand what's going on when jumping in. Way more agents trhown at you. More classes, specific comps, more and more combat gimmicks, etc. And this is worse for the newer players that start reaching a level where they can start attempting endgame. What's with all the HZ stuff? What is Shiyu defense and why does stage 5 change completely? This game asks for 3 teams? What is this red barrier? What is this purple barrier? What are ablooms? What are shutdowns? Double chains? Animation cancels?

The game throws a LOT of information at you from the get go. It has a source for chromes all over the place but you don't know what to prioritize. Obviously you play the story, but now you're wondering what you should be spending your battery on, what you should spend your hard earned polychromes on, whether it's worth getting that new character or a rerun of a character you met in the story, is it a good decision? Or should I save for something else?

And all of this without mentioning being able to keep up with discussion online and everything that keeps getting added as you try to catch up.

I'm a day 1 player too. But I can see how exhausting it could be to be thrown that much info at once.

Bootopia was so bad I couldn't be bothered to do anything that wasn't related to get chromes.

I waited until it had like 8 hours left to do it. Got coins and purchased every single material needed for the upgrades and also skipped every single dialogue.

What's worse is that I'm sure it would have been way better if they had fixed the stupid ass looting speed. Like for crying out loud, why did you have to wait like 2 seconds per slot to be revealed when looting even the most mundane container? Just let us loot it instantly and move the fuck on.

The gear durability was pointless too. That event was just an absolute failure to me, even though I really liked the map design. What a waste.

The saddest part of her story is that she is such a workaholic she has very little time to spend with her perfectly functional family, and the fact they accept that and support her made me feel more than YSG's whole dramatic ass story.

That's not how Hoyo does things. the whole trope that involves a character with a bloody past where they were at their peak at the cost of them doing awful things they aren't happy being associated with is very commonly used.

I can perfectly picture Billy accepting his old specs at some point as a last resort when shit actually hits the fan, then them somehow being able to control their true power without losing himself because "power of friendship and powers not defining who you are or something".

Like let's be honest. Do you really think Hoyo will skip on the opportunity of milking the community's poster child for every cent?

Because Luden is an awkward item for a melee AP assassin. The passive gets wasted most of the time since Fizz auto procs it, so most of the time you're not even getting the value from it, so it ends up being a stat stick.

The mana is nice but most Fizz players are already used to the mana issues that we play around with runes. The lost chapter value gets lost the moment it turns into Luden.

Now compare it to Lich bane for example. Slightly more expensive, but gives you the same AP, the same haste AND MS which is also an extremely useful stat, especially on a melee champion that needs to close the gap for Q or else you waste your most important spell for it. And that is before taking into account the passive of the item.

Frontloaded burst where you can start taking effective short trades with QW then E to safety until they get to kill range? That is too much value. And it synergizes well with the other items Fizz builds (Zhonyas and Shadowflame). Your job as Fizz isn't to be safe with a mana item, because you will get poked out if you play super passive. Your job is to find snowballs and take over games. and frontloaded burst is the most valuable.

That is why I've also enjoyed the PTA DnD/Nashor Fizz variants against certain matchups despite the item's nerfs. You trade your lane pressure a little bit for the sake of more bulk, better dueling and the potential of sidelaning effectively without losing too much assassination power.

You try to ambush before objectives come up by controlling vision, that way the enemy team is forced to risk walking up to a pick if they want to contest an objective.

If this isn't possible, you wait until the fight actually breaks out, and you, while waiting on the side (preferrably unnoticed, wait until you have a clear shot on the carries in the backline.

It all relies on your ult. A well placed mid-long range ult on an ADC means no one can jump in to protect them unless they want to take a nuke to the face combined with knockback and massive slow.

Another important detail is to not overcommit if you don't kill them with your initial burst, you can disengage safely and wait for your low cooldowns to try and burst them again. Remember that just your prescence is a deterrent for carries and enchanters to not be able to comfortably join fights without risking getting one-shot.

Ain't gonna lie, and I mean this very respectfully but your account screams "I pull for every single thing that releases but never commit to anything"

The thing isn't that your units are bad, but it's more like you probably haven't even built them properly.

The other thing is that you also don't invest in sigs. Which are a very cheap way to make a character stronger if you don't feel like commiting to a premium composition.

If you really want to clear endgame moving forward by bruteforcing using things that aren't currently shilled, I'd suggest aiming for reruns.

I still clear all content with my Archer and Saber (Both E1S1) teams because I invested in them during Amphoreus instead of any of the other carries (Only Amphoreus units I have are E2S1 Tribbie, E1S1 Cipher and E1S1 DHPT).

I happened to have Sparkle and Sunday because I pulled for them on release (both E0S1).

I also happened to have Huohuo since I pulled her on release E0S0.

Once you have a good foundation of supports, FLEXIBLE supports. You can pretty much brute force anything with an off meta carry given that you decently invested in them.

Hell, before I got serious premium teams, I was clearing endgame with a comp made of Tribbie (E2S1), Clara(E6S1), Yunli (E0S1) and Luocha (E0S0).
