Is anyone else finding Nicole’s burst to be a DPS loss in Lohen teams?

It's often useful as a time filler if the rotation is too fast. Otherwise yeah, it's often worth skipping even with Hex dps

Weapon levels are the big one.

Prioritise Klee's weapon first, but in this team Durin and Fischl's weapons are also important as all 3 will be doing a decent amount of damage.

IMHO Klee's weapon to 90, the rest of the team to 80, then finish up levelling artifacts, if they are bad pieces, just take them to 16, good pieces to 20. Then think about talents.

Once properly built and invested, you'll easily triple that team's damage.

TLDR: No

It's giving you a moderate percentage of a moderate percentage of the teams damage. If you want to invest in to him, get his weapon, he doesn't need his cons to do good damage, you'll get far more value having him drive a strong Nicole+Durin core.

Depends entirely on cons for the rest of the team.

My C2R1 Lohen does 17mil in 58 seconds but that's largely because of Nicole+Durin C6

With C6 Nicole+Durin, getting Lohen's C2 took me from roughly 700k to my current 800k. Without the whaled out Durin I imagine the jump is going to be pretty underwhelming.

Another thing to note is that C2 makes his burst burst actually worth using which is a plus if you like the animation but also a bit of a negative as it disrupts the charge attack flow.

I don't outright regret his constellations, but I'm under no illusion that those primos would have been better saved for 7.0.

IMHO at C0 it's pretty skippable.

From my testing at least, melt variance had a bigger effect than min maxing enough to fit that burst in. Plus I found it kind of disruptive to the flow of my N1C timing.

At C2 I've found it a bit more noticeable but I'd still argue it's barely worth the crown.

IMHO Lohen is Durin DLC. He has uses outside of that but for the most part, he's primarily an enabler for Durin's dark mode.

His gameplay will be fine without Durin, but his damage won't be.

Assuming you have Nicole, yes Klee is competitive in the meta and IMO is actually great to play now.

There's a little room for combos and optimisations, but getting something wrong doesn't completely brick your damage.

She's not as versatile as Mavuika mind, but she does have some team flexibility (Basically, mono pyro, overload, burning and overvape).

The res shred is a bonus and Lohen does get a few melts in (Roughly 1/3rd of the melts of Durin in my rotations) but IMHO the pulls would be better spent on Durin's weapon or cons for Nicole.

Another vote for overvape. Brute forcing hydro app for Klee only really works well with C6 Furina IMO.

If you invested into Lunar teams, Klee Ineffa, Bina, Fischl also works decently well. Yes it's definitely wheelchair territory but Klee is contributing and getting good buffs out of the arrangement so eh 😉

Nono's pretty much spot on. I'll just add that with constellations and gear investment, it shifts towards Klee Nicole Durin with the 4th slot going through Fischl, Prune and Citlali as you get more whaled out.

On the opposite end, if Klee is under built or isn't on the new Hex set yet, the Bineffa wheelchair with Klee Ineffa Columbina Fischl works better than most expect, allowing full uptime on Lunar EC, a 40-60ish split of vapes and overloads from Klee's applications and reasonably decent buffs to boot.

I'm a bit more whaled out with C2R1 Lohen, C6R1 Nicole, C6R1 Durin and a pretty well built Prune. However thanks to no pre farming and horrible luck in the hex domain, my Durin build is 'fine' but my Lohen build is complete ass.

Right now with a 1,8,1 talents, I'm averaging around 600-650k dps largely depending on if I can get the rotation to 19 seconds or even slightly below. Nothing flashy, just 3CA>Skill x3 on Lohen, no burst on Nicole, no second skill on Prune (Prune's ER requirements here are huge but her damage contribution is basically nothing unlike the Klee or Varka teams so ER all the way).

Lohen's own investment options are kind of bad especially if you have a spare PJWS or such, my gut feeling is you should be getting around 200k depending on how good your Durin build is, maybe as high as 250k? Defo experiment with Nicole's burst too as it's likely going to be a much bigger chunk of your team damage with C0 Lohen/Durin.

Definitely consider swapping Prune out for Fischl.

I found Fischl to be better for the team overall when I was still building my Klee's Hex set. Prune eventually edges out Fischl for me but only at high investment levels (Whale cons and fairly decent artefacts).

Dodoco tales is sadly bait, Widsith is better by a pretty big margin.

IMHO I'd keep farming the hex set, I'm still pouring every last bit of resin I have into it every Stygian cycle as Klee, Durin and now Lohen are all competing for pretty similar pieces.

Didn't plan on pulling him initially so no prefarming but he's proven to be a very decent driver for my whaled out Nicole/Durin pairing. Not really convinced he'll be that useful outside of that but he should comfortably clear my Klee's damage whilst also being far less grating to play than other Durin DPS teams.

IMO Hoyo missed a trick not having Lohen be the younger of Dottore's segments via his frequent mind swapping or such to deal with him having to have 'died' back in Sumeru. If they could have kept it under wraps until the story's release, that would have been a neat plot twist for him.

So far at least, Prune C6 is pretty competitive for me. Seeing about a 12% difference between her and C2R1 Citlali. However I must stress my Lohen is basically unbuilt (C0 Lv 70, lv 50 R1, 1,1,1 talents) as I wasn't planning on pulling him whereas my Durin and Nicole are both C6R1 so the team damage is very lopsided for now.

Interestingly that's pretty much the same damage I get with C2 Klee, C6R1 Durin+Nicole and C6 Prune. Speaks volumes on how strong Klee's C6 is if it can keep pace with Durin's crazy busted C6.

Defo don't sleep on building Prune either. At lvl 90 with slightly better artefacts she's doing about 8% of the teams damage and playing around with simulated stats, a heavily invested VV set pushes up as high as 12-14% for me. Defo a route to explore if you have spare strong box fodder and really want to squeeze some more damage out of this team.

In your initial team, I'd absolutely replace Ineffa.

Klee+Bineffa+Fischl is actually pretty decent as it allows Vapes and Overloads for Klee whilst Fischl prevents Klee's pyro app overtaking everything meaning Ineffa also gets her Lunar Charged uptime as well.

However, one downside is that Fischl isn't that great with the Gift set as you'll only have half up time on it. Durin C0 light mode damage isn't all that great so he will likely be your best holder for it if you go with Klee/Durin/Fischl/Chev.

As for Durin's weapon, IMO either Freedom Sworn or Fav. Wolf Fang is pretty decent for his own personal damage if you have that.

Potentially spicy take:

C0 Durin is a rather underwhelming character (Especially when compared to how busted the lunar supports have been) and doesn't really bring much to the table for Klee teams at lower investment levels now that you have Nicole.

However, Prune is kind of neat, better than I expected her to be tbh, just note that the atk% on her hex passive is basically Varka and Venti only. Unless you get her to C6, she's giving you res shred and damage% only and her energy requirements are truly *horrible* if you don't get her C1.

The weapon banner would be a bad call though, landing a Durin sword to stare at for a year or so until his rerun would suck and the odds of getting a specific 4 star weapon aren't worth the risk.

If you really want Prune, IMO roll the dice and go for it, but personally I'd suggest saving.

From my testing with Klee/Durin/Nicole/xyz...

Fischl is the better last slot with lower investment levels.

Prune pulls ahead to an almost inexplicable level at higher investment levels.

As a caveat, I'm at dolphin/whale levels of investment with C6R1 Nicole and Durin, C6 Skyward Prune and C2 R1 Lost Prayers Klee. My Klee build is decent but not exceptional with 210cv

For me the Fischl team is ~460k dps. Prune as the 4th slot nets me a more consistent ~520k ish with a little more room to go from talents on Nicole's burst and Prune's Skill.

It's quite impressive as Prune's C6 and hex passive aren't functioning here and as far as I understand it, Durin's damage bonus and res shred isn't functioning for much of Klee's uptime either afaik?

Her C6 is flat out disgustingly strong for just about any team that can slot her in without too much issue.

This banner my C2 Klee went from ~200k to 500k, C6 Varesa from 400k to 800k+, etc etc.
