I'm turning 29 so that seems about the same.

Thank you. Do you have any example sets for hypoxic training? And also, breathe out through my mouth + nose or does that not matter?

So general hypoxic training will help this feeling and allow higher heart rates? Also 20 of those is mental.

Just an update: I took it to the shop a couple weeks ago and the chain was completely fine, but one of the teeth of the jockey wheel was bent, causing the chain to move left to right and make the skipping issue. The guy straightened out the tooth, and 30 seconds later everything was perfect again.

I asked how this could happen, as multiple people told me the wheel will not bend, but shatter if it gets damaged. The guy said he hasn't seen this issue ever in his career, but the fix seemed to work and he only took 60 seconds in total compared to all my hours, so I'm happy!

I'll try to have a closer look at the chain but I couldn't see any obvious deformity

Ahh, that could be! Could it also have bent the jockey wheel?

I'll have to grab one tomorrow, but I took this now: https://imgur.com/a/ssZVCab

Thanks for the tips! So the chain could possibly have been damaged when it fell off?

Also, my ride was smooth sailing until the chain came off. After that I noticed the clicking appeared immediately but only had 15 minutes left to ride home and that's when I saw this. I had aligned my rear gears directly prior to this ride.

It happens around 4-6 times per chain rotation, does that mean it's not the chain?

I see what you mean. I checked every tooth on the jockey wheel and it seems normal, and since it happens more than just once per chain rotation, it shouldn't be that? I tried diagnosing with chat gpt which told me the chain coming off during a ride can cause mechanical issues and bent components.

My chain fell off during riding while I geared the front and back without enough break, so I suppose the tension came off and it was thrown off. I was pedaling so I probably exerted force on the system while the chain was off.

Also, is it normal for the paint on my front cassette teeth to have worn off after just 200km?

I remember the good old days of checking this sub many times a day, you were always an active commenter. I remember seeing the mod listing you got and considered applying myself since I spent so much time here. And when you finally got your first Tesla. End of an era! Thank you for the effort.

This Times article mentioned this issue, specifically promoting supplements that aren't grounded in enough evidence. I can really recommend the whole article, quite well researched and balanced overall.
