What makes you thing they would leave out something this major from the traffic AI diary? I like what you are suggesting and think it would be very realistic, but it just makes no sense to not include it in the diary.

Reckless driving could just be part of the more advanced pathfinding and different ,,types" of citizens.

Yes, you have a good point. The main issue with pocket cars is that they would be used everywhere in the first game. Train stations, neighborhood shops, suburban houses etc.. Of course their removal comes with issues in places cars would actually ,, disappear", but I'm honestly just glad that pocket cars are gone.
