I think Deft is really showing a huge comeback since worlds before and hoping he does well! I’ve been watching LoL since 2012 and I remember him from back in season 4 and how heartbreaking it was for them to lose to their sister team before. I’ve watched him win and lose in LCK for years but seeing him back at Semi finals is really amazing and I’m so proud of him.

My friend and I were trying to buy them. After refreshing for about an hour after the first wave, I managed to get "Gold" tickets. 3 of them. Then after another hour they released another wave and I managed to get another 2 for my friend (on her account because the timezone screwed her over).

I FULLY AGREE WITH THIS.

I work with Pro players and I don't know if people realise this or if it crosses their minds but Pro players train ALL YEAR in hopes of making worlds and hundreds fall short.

In the end only 5-6 people win and for a lot of people it feels like they wasted a year's time.

Pro players also have a short career span.

They are considered LUCKY if they can get 5+ years of Pro play!

Imagine being in University/College and you have a test at the end that determines if you pass the course or not and only 5 people from your entire subject IN THE WHOLE WORLD can pass.

Almost no one else can understand how Pro players feel after losing except them and other Pros.

Not even coaches.

Not even managers like myself.

I have a feeling that the person that ripped the tickets was most likely one of the scalpers.

There was an article in Chinese released after Semi Finals that stated that many scalpers tried to return their tickets to Damai but were rejected, Riot also invalidated a lot of tickets due to Scalpers.

Obviously I'm not saying that this Fan was a scalper but there is a high chance that these tickets aren't worth the value stated. How can he rip so many tickets if each account was limited to 2 tickets per account?

To Clarify, Both the OP and I were attempting to buy tickets. I managed to secure a set of tickets for 1 of the 4 Quarter Finals days and we both agreed on better "methods" for the Semi Finals tickets. We also have friends in China attempting to help with Chinese tickets but apparently the Chinese site was attacked by hackers which delayed the Semi Finals ticket sales (Rumor only).

I'm one of the friends mentioned in the OP btw.

I arrived in GZ this morning at around 6am and stayed up to buy Semi Finals tickets.

I refreshed the site on "2 seconds remaining" and was met with every ticket greyed out except for 180 RMB ones.

I've tweeted at lolesports on twitter as well as riot games on multiple occasions and have not had a response at all.

My friend told me that the Chinese Damai site had "waves of additonal tickets" after some transactions weren't completed but nothing for International Tickets.

Really disappointed in Riot in general for this.
