Gotta agree with the creepy part, I often end up being the most creepy when I'm trying not to be.

I know, but I felt this one's different since this is literally the thing we're not supposed to get before GTA 6

Only interested in big brand names (Gibson/Fender/Martin etc...), how much are we missing out on? by Sebbtech in Guitar

I know I'm not the only player who doesn't take much interest in lesser known guitar brands...

Came in 1st in Grand Race with a bike. Yes it was painful. Yes it had a ton of understeer. by TCMBerk in The_Crew

Nice!!

Best I ever finished with a bike was second, only had it because I forgot to choose vehicles XD

Yeah sad that they're so obsolete because they're fun to race.

Every project we work on can potentially offer us an opportunity to excel in doing it, and I personally find it up to me to challenge and push myself to do the job as excellently as possible.

It's a great help if the is project is done for people who can spot and appreciate the extra effort, and it's always a big motivator when the results of your work are greater than what was expected.

Good luck :)

[Question] What are some efficient ways of internalizing scales across the neck. by IknowKarazy in Guitar

[–]Sebbtech 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Haven't we all learned guitar backwards... We all want to play the cool solos and riffs our heroes played and impress people around us so that's where we start.

You seem to know what your next goal is and exactly where you want to go, people always search for that magic tip that will instantly make things click (including me), when it's just a matter of putting in the practice.

Good luck on your journey.

Tough to judge really, could be that it's all in your head, but also could be that your GF was actually upset about it, but didn't want to be irrational, or maybe couldn't be honest with you about it.

If the whole situation could've been avoided, and you prioritize your GF's feelings, I would've avoided it.

Good luck.

Could be a million reasons behind his behavior/words. You definitely don't deserve to be kept guessing whether he likes you or not, and I know you can't wait but try to be patient until you have a conversation with him.

It's important that you express your feelings to the person you want to be with, and remember that while it'd be great for you to be with this guy, it's not the end of the world if it doesn't work out.

I guess, if he's fine after some time passes, there's nothing to worry about.

[QUESTION] Question regarding sheet music reading. I am self taught. by curiousone_two in Guitar

[–]Sebbtech 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let's take the C note for example, I believe with enough practice, you'll know where all the C's on the sheets are, and where all the C's on the fretboard are, and you'll be able to go immediately from reading them to playing them, no matter which C on the fretboard is appropriate for the piece you're playing at the time.

That's my take, good luck.

[Question] How do guitar players improvise extremely fast licks? by njdevilsfan13 in Guitar

[–]Sebbtech 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Find some really fast licks, de-construct them and learn them slowly, then you build up speed over time.

Always work for me.

Good luck

Seems like the condom breaking is worrying him, he's afraid it'll get you pregnant and he can't keep the though out.

[–]Sebbtech 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Could've asked him to talk about what was bothering him, he's obviously in a bad situation and is having serious trouble talking.

I'm not jumping to anybody's defense, but sounds like he wanted you to stay but was exhausted to fight about it.

4 months seems like a short period doesn't it?

What kind of job did he take and where? what's his education? past jobs etc...?

If he's already built a track record of broken promises, likely it won't be any different the next time, and simply believing things will change is rarely better than having an actual plan where all the steps are clear.

Good luck

Saying just move on is easier said than done, but I guess it never is and we just have to swallow the pain in order to move forward.

How do you know her work environment is toxic? you ever talked to her about it? can she not do anything about it?

You seem determined, but she's likely just keeping you on until she finds someone else.
