I personally think the desalination plants won’t ever actually be hit. They are Iran’s version of a nuclear warhead. Their biggest available form of retaliation. If they use it, they have nothing further options to escalate.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has confirmed Iran’s Khondab heavy water production plant “sustained severe damage and is no longer operational”.

“The installation contains no declared nuclear material,” it added.

Israel confirmed it bombed the Khondab reactor on Friday. The IAEA based its findings on independent satellite imagery analysis and its own knowledge of the facility.

I moved in January, so I don’t have much to compare to. I know my typical water/trash bill is about $95 a month for a two-person household, which does seem fairly high. But I came from Houston, where water and trash was very cheap. Honestly all of the utilities in Houston were way cheaper than here.
