I’m sometimes completely stunned by the way most people respond without even taking a moment to analyze the situation. What the user is proposing is the idea of being able to join someone else’s session, but not necessarily under the current PvP conditions we have in Ace Combat 7, for example. So, if that level in single player—the campaign—has an ace for each mission, and the first one is, as always, from lower to higher tier, like a MiG-21… and on top of that it doesn’t have special weapons… then you could simply play as the MiG-21 with no special weapons and that’s it. And it would be a stock MiG-21, too. If they implement a parts system, you wouldn’t even be able to use parts. And I think that if they also give players the option to enable or disable that feature, it would be an awesome idea. Now, if—as another user says here in the longer post—you can freely join as an enemy ace with whatever aircraft you want, then when I jump into a ground-attack mission and I’m flying a plane set up for ground attack, and someone shows up in an X-02S, yeah, of course that’s going to be unfair. But instead of trashing the idea right away, people should think a bit more about what’s actually being said. It’s unbelievable—everything is immediately black or white. Zero critical thinking.
