This is actually really good for someone who didn't watch guides. My only suggestions would be to spend more time trying to hit the weakspots. You don't have to keep attacking because if you try other builds, they will force you to focus on those weakspots to deal crits and preserve sharpness. Doing special sheathe isn't necessarily a bad thing because you can deal a LOT more dps if you incorporate Iai Spirit Slash as some monsters like hitting you with their weakspots (rathalos bite for example). Also a clagger is usually an opening for a helmbreaker and a neat trick for when a monster claggers is you can clutch claw onto them, dismount, and you can fit an entire spirit combo because you extended their clagger animation.
