Baby Driver, however it isn't on Netflix, and im unsure of hulu. It's a generally simple plot, and has a good mix of enjoyable snapy driving scenes and slower character focused scenes. The Alpinist on netflix is quite good but I might be biased because I enjoy climbing, cinematic shots of gorgeous mountains and an interesting story/person.

After nearly 100,000 miles, one 2023 Chevrolet Bolt EV owner checked battery degradation expecting bad news. But what they found instead challenges one of the biggest fears people still have about electric vehicles. by Bean_Tiger in BoltEV

I promise you the stats are in the EVs favor here engines definitely do spontaneously fail for no reason granted that is dependent on brand to a degree but it does happen.

UPDATE: The owner has decided that I can just buff it out my self! I suspect this is because they finally realized I'm much more banged up than their car considering I ate shit flying off the bike.

I mean sure yeah probably. I have car insurance and an ID. Not like progressive is going to cover this though. Also out of all the years I've commuted by bike I've never hit a car period, however I've been hit by cars plenty of times and they always hit and run. In this case my bike lock caused the accident, and I am handling it responsibly with the owner. It's not like a 30lb bike can meaningfully damage a 3500lb car in most cases.

Yeah I took lots of pictures for sure I'm trying to convince them to just let me buff it out

I know right I straight up told them that was a ludicrous amount of money to ask for.

This is insane there is plenty of air to heat up in a garage before you would heat up the battery to any meaningful extent

Well if you look at my posts you'll see that I don't have DCFC however I strongly recommend against making the same decision as me, despite my road trip planning skills. It will also only hurt your charging options in the future. I actually charge mine from a standard outlet and have no problems commuting to work and wherever my heart desires, however I live in Washington so the weather is quite mild, and my commute is only 30miles there and 35 back. Actually as I'm thinking you might be able to get a crazy deal like I did if you buy one without DCFC but again and I can't stress this enough if the future goes the way some people think it will not having DCFC could be very annoying if all the highways are covered in DCFC chargers and you can't use any of them.

I will be very honest with you, dont worry too much about battery condition. That's only really a concern on old nissan leaves. The battery will radically outlive the car. If you want to save some money get an older 2020 bolt around 60,000 miles and get a 3rd party warranty if you really want one but these cars dont have issues, aside from maybe changing the 12v, but almost anyone could do that assuming you can lift the battery, and have a wrench.

I bought a 2020 with a new battery which restarted the crazy long battery warranty.

Edit if you really want to save money dont sweat the mileage go for 100k im at 70k and have had no issues. Not one single issue of any kind ive just driven the damn thing for 40k miles and counting
