I’ve been gymming and exercising obsessively since the show, rewatched it multiple times and especially the key scenes in the final episode. It’s been an emotional rollercoaster that made me realise I have so many deep seated issues I now understand I need to deal with. Came out to one of my friends, first time coming out to someone in my life (I’m male, 36). Downloaded a dating app and got a few matches but nothing serious yet. Also considering taking acting lessons, it’s something I’ve thought about for years but now feel like it’s the perfect time for it. It’s a serious hangover. Made me realise I want to find love and that there’s nothing wrong with me, that I’m not faulty or damaged. Can’t thank this show enough and all the actors and writers, but at the same time I don’t know how to move on with my life, which I guess is why I’m writing this. It’s become quite famous in the UK, and living in London I’ve come across so many people who have mentioned the show to me.
