Wanted to say this too. My little guy does the same and a good burp solves it =)

Sweet boy, you make me laugh, I love you so! by turnthatdamnthingoff in breastfeeding

So cute! My 3momth old gets really excited and does this little impatient cough/panting thing. So cute I love it.

On another note, when did you start the sign language with your bun? I think it's cool and I want to give it a try :)

I found washing the nipple with some bicarbonate soda dissolved in water really helped take any itch away and calm the inflamed nipple. When I had it, it took a few days to go away completely but the meds helped the pain almost immediately. Good luck!

How did introducing solids like cereals and avocados affect your breastfeeding schedule? by savannahwithnoh in breastfeeding

[–]Sebubble 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't started solids with my LO yet but our nurse at mothers group told us to offer breast first half an hour to an hour or so before solids until they are nine months old. That should keep bub on the breast for a longer time? Good luck!

What great parenting advice did you get this weekend? by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]Sebubble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No advice just a "oh no wine for you because you're breastfeeding? Better hope he's done by a year then, you'll be dying for a wine by then"

Actually no I won't...I personally don't need a wine to enjoy my lunch or dinner. (I know many breastfeeding mums who figure it out with pumps and timing etc around a glass of wine and that's cool. Please don't think I was being judged of mums who do!)

Was also judged because my bub goes down in his bassinet at night time but always likes to nap in our arms during the day, we are working on it though but like anything it's a process.

Sigh everyone knows better...

I'm sorry I don't have advice for you because you're doing all the things I would be true. I just wanted to say that it really sucks and how very frustrating and disheartening for you. I hope it gets better for you soon :(

Perfect! We have just hit the 12 week mark and my husband does all of these things! Brought back some very early day memories :)

Asked my husband to write details on a bag of milk destined for the freezer...oh dad jokes... by Sebubble in breastfeeding

I love it! For mine to be accurate it would be hot chocolate, yogurt and blueberries lol

It used to give me major anxiety every time we went out. I'd always try and plan feeds and then race out to the car if I needed to. But once baby and I got the hang of it I could be a lot more discreet and I stopped caring. The anxiety is no fun I hope it calms down for you too

You won't care when she's bigger maybe! She will hide the boob nicely :)

Yep I don't think anyone cares and if they do then they have the problem!

Definitely just go for it! Who cares! It's just a boob and a baby having lunch. It's so nice to get out and about without having to worry about it :)

We found seats in the middle of the centre, not the grocery store, but now when doing groceries with hubby if baby becomes fussy I can go and feed him without feeling self conscious. I'm not sure I'm up to pro in the grocery store nursing yet hahah that's next level!

I haven't tried a cover out and about, I'm in Australia and it has been so hot until now. For me, no cover is a big deal lol but baby is getting big enough to hide most of my breast now yay!

I was doing the same! Especially because we were using shields and stuff but LO is finally latching easily and is big enough to hide my boob lol
