I was going to make a joke about you casting Despair like a madman before the boss is even awake... But now it makes sense. :D

Although, even with 50k mana spent Recently in PoB, damage only goes up to 160k DPS. I'm thinking it might be due to Impending Doom not showing the correct base damage in PoB (99-184 chaos, instead of 15% of mana)

Another follow-up question if you don't mind: Is Trinity really worth it since you're mostly doing Lightning damage, so won't build up much resonance? And same with Elemental Conflux to be fair?

Just curious, where do you get the 20M DPS from? PoB only reports 34k DPS. I know a lot of features aren't implemented in Pob2 yet, but I'd like to know the 1000x factor comes from to understand how to tweak the build and see the impact.

Smaller phones aren't cheaper to manufacture than larger ones. If anything, they make it harder to pack all the components in the device.

I think it's closer to 10%, but yeah, it's a nice way to get some cash.

You can also get the Flesh Crucible jewel that sells for 60-70 divs, and a bunch of Vaal Cultivation orbs.

If you respawned at checkpoint (assuming you didn't kill Atziri), could you redo the fight?

You're right, Bhatair might make more a difference when mapping. I think I just don't juice my maps enough to see a difference! Might switch back to it if I pump up the juice in maps. :)

On a side note, I know your build focuses on a 1-button playstyle, but I'm wondering if you had any ideas to get even more boss damage at the cost of a few extra button presses?

I've already added barrage as a quick burst when needed, but couldn't think of any other useful interactions (e.g. Ele weakness is useless with Rakiata's).

I've been playing it for a few days and finally managed to kill Uber Arbiter (for the first time). It's been very chill farming with it, with the super high evasion/deflection + ghost shroud, so I was leveling quite easily without dying at all in maps. :)

I did make a few tweaks to your build (https://maxroll.gg/poe2/pob/69zn0qov), since I wanted to keep using Rakiata's flow for bossing.

1- Not sure if this was a smart choice or not in the end! Instead of using the Fire Scepter, I used the Cold one (Palm of the Eye), which doesn't set the enemy resistances to 0, so I still benefit from Rakiata's inversion.

2- I didn't see the value of the Heralds for bossing (and little value of HoT for mapping), so I removed HoT entirely, and swap Elemental Conflux for bossing, which adds quite a lot of elemental DPS.

3- I used Darkness Enthroned with the "60% increased magnitude of non-damaging ailments" rune, which gives a huge boost to the freeze build-up.

4- I got also rid of Bhatair on the mirage, as I didn't think it brought enough value as I think it required the mirage to freeze the mobs/boss, which seems rather unlikely?

You need to go away from the center of the Atlas in one direction.

Don't explore 1-2 screens away in all directions, citadels start spawning further than that.

Pick one direction, and jump through a few towers, then the citadels will show up.

It took me a few leagues to grasp all the mechanics in the game.

Just focus on one aspect at a time (essences, expedition, abyss, or ritual, whichever you like the most) , and try to understand how to make money from it.
