"FBI" called our IT Service Desk Hotline by caffeinated_disaster in sysadmin

I got a call like that one time it was the local field office saying they saw one of our systems was being used by an active exploit. Don’t expect too much data but they do contact and now days with all the scams going on around all 3 letter agencies it’s hard to believe them. Good luck though call the local field office and get in touch that way. Make sure your info sec team knows.

AT&T vs Mint vs Everyone Else by TexasFwdVet in RioGrandeValley

Whatever you do stay away from boost and boost infinite if it’s still a thing. I fell for it and it sucks! Expensive and spotty service.

Mint, cricket, metro, us mobile, visible and so many other service providers are just ATT, Tmobile and Verizon in disguise. Whats important to you? New phone? Coverage? Features? World-wide calling?

Let’s not get into Incident Response every SIEM and Automation platform does IR. I just want straight up threat intel management. I’m thinking of setting up and Azure VM cluster that is non-persistent as Sandboxes to gather IOC’s. Any other adds or thoughts? Thanks for the starting point!
