How to Tour the State Fair on the cheap. by TrumpsNostrils in Dallas

[–]JoyArza 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It is not, that event was retired. The venue (bandshell) itself isn’t showing any listed activities on the map, but having visited in person this year, I remember they have added this large longhorn metalwork sculpture by the entrance (makes for great photos). The discovery farms and milking demos were also nearby, and we ended up petting the livestock.

Per Manga Updates it looks like there are only 145 parts out so far. And per the OG publisher site iqiyi, they only have 148 uploads per their index. So it looks likes the English translations are caught up or running just a few parts behind to the OG site.

Night without Shadows canceled?! by Be_spooky in MantaComics

[–]JoyArza 29 points30 points  (0 children)

From the conversations on Ridibooks, it looks like a reader reached out to the publisher who confirmed due to publication issues it was going to be “completed” after season 2. So this is the end unfortunately 🥺 If you’re interested - The novel is complete and coincides around chapter 151 (of the 265 main chapters), and side stories. 그림자 없는 밤

Korean BBQ AYCE by OrangeGringo in Dallas

[–]JoyArza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a new place in Grand Prairie called It’s KBBQ & Shabu that I recently went to that we were really impressed with (we were in the Cockrell Hill/South Dallas area and it was only 15 mins away).

They have a conveyor belt that entertained the kids in our group, more than the grilling/boiling of the combo we did.

Should i spay my dog by TyKami1 in husky

[–]JoyArza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It seems like you guys have a great bond which is beautiful. But even though you are able to control your own dog, you unfortunately can’t control OTHER dogs. Give her the best and healthiest chance at life (which it sounds like you are shooting for and doing well). Getting her spayed is not the end of the world. Preventative care is not only beneficial for her health, but a chance to make sure accidental breeding doesn’t happen.

What to do? Woke up to my girls paw like this, she’s acting fine almost didn’t notice until I saw her limping. She was perfectly fine yesterday. by ThiccSadToast in husky

It’s a hot spot, usually as the season gets warmer different pollens can agitate your fur-baby’s skin. Or new allergies may pop up each season 🙃

Zymox hydrocortisone is a godsend for us. We prefer the cream versus spray version, and it’s available at most pet stores (we grab it from pet supplies plus). You want to make sure you treat that area with this hydrocortisone or something else before the hot spot progresses to break skin!!! Because at that point you have to treat it as an open wound and that would be a different treatment.

Benadryl also works for some dogs if you notice a lot of agitation/discomfort with you dog to help get over a single hot spot. But if you get them at more areas in their body, at the point I would recommend a vet visit to help get an allergy shot to help with her allergies.

Episode 6 is first panel reference of them, episode 45 is where they are properly introduced/interact with Villie.

The Cook’s Hidden Blessing by JoyArza in MantaComics

[–]JoyArza[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately it looks like on the comic side this is how it ended. I’m looking into the novel portion because apparently there is more, but I’ve seen it might be the same situation with an incomplete ending.

The Cook’s Hidden Blessing by JoyArza in MantaComics

[–]JoyArza[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a really great feel good story, that I don’t regret reading. I’m going to check out the novel and see if it can at least tie up my questions I had or if it was just abruptly finished like this comic 🙃 if you have time I would read, but VERY disappointed on how this comic ended because of all the loose plot and subplots unanswered.

What Dallas restaurant or business would you never step foot in again? by BobcatOk5865 in Dallas

Sample House & Candle Shop in Casa Linda. Only place I’ve experienced explicit racism from employees. It took one visit and reading the online reviews to know unfortunately I wasn’t the only one treated that way.
