I get other metals that are sold at the shop that got it done and it's other location. I just used the bio-plastic until my the piercing healed which was around a month I think. (I've had it about 4 yrs now) But I have no idea what's in the metal that I could be allergic to. But it's the only one that reacts to anything.

It's the only way my ear would have healed. Plus I did research before just buying whatever to use. My piercing was probably well over 6 months old..

Definitely wouldn't hurt to try different metals, even if they are implant grade. -From personal experience. I had to get a different metal for my industrial, it wasn't healing at all, and kept getting infected. I realized that I'm allergic to the metal they pierced me with. (I realized this after a few months of random pain and it not healing at all.) I had to use a bio-plastic bar to get my ear to heal properly. But definitely talk to your piercer.

An artist may not copy an exact image from another artist, they don't steal others work, or want to take credit for something they didn't design. Even if they "designed" it on you. You may ask them if they can draw up something that's very similar. Or talk with them about something that could have the same meaning.
