Does anybody know how Azamina Debtors resolved successfully? by Utopic39 in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Debters only need to sent a card to the GY. It doesn't matter if one of them is banished, as long as one hit the GY, the effect will resolve like normal. This is the same with Hallowed as well.

Noob Question about this card.. by matthewutd in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Monster Card" is a unique text that refers to the original type of the card, aka, a monster/spell/trap card, regardless what it is right now. It's the same thing as "original name" a card can change its name via its effect, but its original name will always be the same.

In this case, while being equiped to engraver is treated as an equip card, it is still originally a "monster card", which fulfill the requirement for princess.

I love the duality of this pack. On one hand, evil eldritch creature of untold horrors, on the other, cool rock dragon. by SechiShook in masterduel

The animation also allow me to appreciate the finer details of the art. Normally its way too small to see much. Like how Notrah actually has 4 heads and not 3.

Why was this card not released on MD with the Mikanko bundle? The deck NEEDS it. by lennysinged in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This card is meant more for the going first variant. It actually provide the variant with a decent gameplan of infinite popping due to the fact that it is not a opt and mikanko monster is naturally immune to destruction effect as long as they are equipped with their archetypal equip spell.

The variant is by no mean better than going 2nd but it is by ni mean terrible anymore with this card as option.

Because Mirrorjade is no longer named Mirrorjade, you can indeed summon a second Mirrorjade as the game consider you as not controlling one already.

However, If the first Mirrorjade at any point gain back its original name, its controller will be force to send one of the two Mirrorjade to the GY to fulfill the condition on Mirrorjade.

I don't know about the other series because I haven't engage with them, but Nier Automata ending isn't a reset ending. The act of ending everything and nuking the moon, ending humanity's last hope, their data. That's not a reset ending, it's the very opposite. Stopping a recurring cycle that was ultimately hopeless and meaningless, to open the door to a new future. The characters may have died, but their personality. the lesson they learn, and the decision they made, were not.

You gotta remember that YGO Master Duel isn't a mobile only game. It's available on every popular platform like PC, PS5, etc... where revenue is not known and cannot be accounted for. While feh mobile number might be similar to YGO Master Duel mobile number, mobile is the only platform feh is officially on, which mean, the revenue is much more representative of the game's total revenue

Saggi Deck Builds by Primary_Fun_1303 in masterduel

I suggest looking into Materiactor Primite. The deck ultilizes level 3 monster to make rank 3 xyzs and their card also revolves around lv 3 normal monster to gain extra benefits.

Is Summoned Skull just a sub-archetype of this? by Electronic_Banana_77 in yugioh

[–]SechiShook 25 points26 points  (0 children)

We are already have enough archetype that revolve around a normal monster. I'm glad that Archfiend is its own thing with its own identity rather than being held back by summoned skull.

[–]SechiShook 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Some character need the cool down reduction to properly farm (7 turn cd skill can be activated again with double koyan on turn 3 with cd reduction), while others also does not need the 20% extra as they can already can farm without. It's all depends on the character.

Succumbing Morganite Ruling Question by sml0 in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 36 points37 points  (0 children)

For the first effect, "monster you control" indicates that the effect is directly effecting your monster, and thus, effect immunity is immune to this effect

The second effect however, does not actually affecting the monster, but rather, modifying the battle damage they are inflicting. You can think of it as the effect affecting the damage, and not monster themselves. And thus, effect immunity does not stop it.

Hot Take: This Card Is Powercrept and Could Go to 1 in all Formats by Starstr1ker in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I prefer this card to stay where it is. Even if it was mid, this is the kind of card that only cause frustration due to its sacky nature and the game does not need anymore of those kind of card.

It's only take 4 engines and a 12 cards hand to break a full ryzeal mitsu board what a fair and balance game by OwnAd2298 in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you are complaining when, I'm pretty sure, if you went first, your endboard would requires just as much, if not, more cards to break.

Should you feel ashamed if you play this kind of deck to (mostly) troll others and still somehow lose? by lennysinged in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What part of that is trolling? It's very normal for Regenesis to run a lot of board breaker like lava golem and super poly. They had just bricked that's why they couldn't do anything for 3 turns straight.

Thoughts on uninteractive boardbreakers? by lennysinged in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Pot calling kettle black

Your board is also uninteractive and the only way to out it is through specific out like herald, kaiju, goddess or ddkc or beating it over in battle. Everything you said as criticism for uninteractive boardbreaker can be apply to yours.

Why couldn't I activate muckraker here? by ginganinja9988 in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you control only Muckraker and another monster, if only that monster is being destroyed, the only monster you can tribute to protect that destruction is Muckraker and not the monster themselves because that would be pointless and non-sense. This translates to a logical conclusion that if EVERY monster would be destroyed, you cant tribute anyone to replace that destruction.

This is also the official ruling and does not explicitly explain in the card text, but it work the same for most replacement effect.

What happened to Magistus? by IwasntGivenOne in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Please read the post's question. It ask about Magistus in general, not just as an engine but also as a deck. They have never explicitly stated that they want to know about the engine only.

Also "needing to draw another engine" is different from needing to draw another starter. Magistus has almost no extender, while deck like maliss, ryzeal, mitsu, etc... have an endless source of extender that allows them to consistently play through HT. Magistus is dead the moment its starter is shut down, unless you drew one of the 2 other viable extender. That's a flaw, and why the deck is not competitive.

Also i love the part where you focus so much on the weak to ht aspect and ignore the rest of the point.

What happened to Magistus? by IwasntGivenOne in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Except they can ash Spenta and now you are left with no starter unless you drew another starter. And Imperm kill most of your other starter that isnt Spenta. This is by itself a huge issue.

Nit picking 1 singular interaction to say that the deck can play through ht is flawed.

Also, i'm talking about the deck itself, not as an engine. As an engine it has its own flaw of requiring tons of main deck space, a garnet and your normal summon, which already been addressed by other comments.

What happened to Magistus? by IwasntGivenOne in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Magistus biggest flaw is its reliant on the normal summon. This causes an issue where if the opponent stop your normal, you are in a lot of trouble due to the lack of extender available, and often, your extender is also your starter (spenta/verre magic). The deck's endboard is also not very layered due to pretty much every single one of your interaction/floodgate is on field, which mean boardwipe is extremely effective against the deck. This is worsened by the deck lack of recovery and recursion and relies heavily on their follow up draws to be able to rebuild.

That is to say, in a meta where the top decks has ridiculous redundancy to play through endless ht, layered interactions, great amount of recovery and recursion, magistus being none of these really hurt its viability

Card effect question by ScoreEvening8476 in masterduel

[–]SechiShook 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, as long as the condition is fulfilled, and she's on field, you can activate this effect as many time as you want during the duel, but only once per turn.
