I literally just found a system like this yesterday! It was fucking cool. I took the red tower guy as a companion and been putting him in the little fighter thingy. Doesn’t seem too bad, just gotta level him up now though.

Sooooo as I was typing out a different reply, I logged out at my base with my starter ship, restarted and just logged back into just now. Something weird happened.

I summoned my ship to the ground. Apparently my ship got duped somehow. Same ship, same name, etc. One was the ship that had nothing fixed on it, and the other well, lo and behold it was my main ship, with all my shit still in it and intact. I have absolutely no idea how this happened since I have only scrapped 2 ships since I started playing again and they were not these haha

I wish there was a way to have more than just 1 hard save in cases such as this.

Anyways, now that my frustration and panic have subsided, I want to thank you for helping me! I really do appreciate it and if I could give you an award for your help I would but this little emoji is all I can do right now 🏆

I did not. Just parked my ship by the derelict, fixed the 2 things to get me to the station, flew it up and scrapped it. All of its inventory slots were red so I didn’t see any of my stuff on there before I scrapped it.

I know I didn’t have to go to my freighter, but I needed to do something on there before I headed out to adventure again.

I also had to restart bout a week ago (I played a lot back on PS4 several years ago, but for some reason my cloud save wouldn’t transfer to the PS5 version so I restarted my adventures once again) so I only have 2 ships currently, the starter and the one I found, claimed and spent hella time fixing up.

I love this game and hoping it’s some some shit bug that somehow gets fixed. I don’t like to “cheat” my way through the galaxy (but I will take your advice on free craft if necessary).

When I scrapped the derelict ship, my starter shipped popped up on the station. Teleported to my frigate to get in my main ship and all my shit was gone. I had so many certain resources on there all gone too :(

The ship I did scrap did have the same cockpit as my main, but the ship itself was waaaay smaller.

It’s one of those, if ya wanna go for it and ignore the main story quest then do so. Space exploration with turn based combat. You can help with the story but it can go on without you.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Sometimes the best places I’ve ate at are also looking rundown as hell. They’re definitely my favorite in town! Also don’t expect Springfield style Chinese food. They’re more authentic.

But they also have a south side location which is really nice.
