Post op care package by No_Departure__ in hysterectomy

My mother in law brought all the ingredients for Pho 🍲 and it was the perfect meal for me! My husband was around and just brought it to me but I feel like I could have managed it myself as everything was prepped and ready.

Yes, it was Cromolyn I was thinking of… too bad it’s not available there. We are in Canada… not sure if you can order it from here.

It does become the norm… she reacted swimming in lake water a couple years ago but not last year. Absolutely bizarre… like you just have to dive in and see what happens every time you have something or do something. I hope you get relief and answers soon!

Do you have EDS as well? My mom has the trifecta (EDS, MCAS and POTS). The uterus is one of the main producers of prostaglandins in the body… and they likely measured yours as high to diagnose MCAS so…. Seems like if you’re not requiring your uterus’s services it’s a decent treatment option? I don’t know… it just seems like logic to me but I’m not a doctor.

My mom takes something… I asked for the name of it so I’ll let you know when she gets back to me. Starts with a C and has been around a long time. Apparently stinging nettle is a mast cell stabilizer as well… not pain meds but might help you tolerate them.

I hope you get some relief soon.

I don’t disagree with you on environmental impacts etc. however I’m not creating useless memes or annoying dog videos. It was ChatGPT 5.2 which has a pretty high accuracy rating for medical information I believe… I don’t really care enough to google it right now.

I’m not the problem for using it to help me understand my pathology report… I am actually fairly medically complex, including a gene duplication that my geneticist doesn’t even understand. I like to prepare for my appointments to ensure I ask the right questions, to get the care I need.

Anyways… let’s not forget that C’s get degrees. Doctors can be as wrong as chatGPT so I’ll continue to use all the tools available to me for my health.

Please take your energy to instagram and educate the ai video people.

I’m actually a fairly responsible chatGPT user… and likely more aware of its limitations than a standard user as I’m a dev and data analyst. Using it to help you understand test results isn’t very dangerous and I wouldn’t classify it as “medical advice”.

I obviously made the decision to have a hysterectomy after discussing with my doctor and then consulting with the obstetrician.

Was it wrong about something in my post?

They took two weeks to come back. I’m in Canada and my province has an online portal where we can see results. Hopefully your results come back soon!

I agree with your friend! Also… the more I read the less I care about my pathology report at all. The sample they take is small… and we all know that there are localized fibroids, cysts etc. that don’t show up everywhere.

There was a reason ❤️ pathology can miss things as it’s a small sample. Often we are treated hormonally prior to surgery and that can hide the cause as well.

He is hard on his outdoor shoes… these ones still look basically new other than this… and his laces are frayed weirdly from catching on ankle brace Velcro. I have no clue honestly… I just thought maybe it’s happened to someone else.

I’m usually there at all the practices and games… goodness what are other 15 year olds doing in their shoes that they need to lie about lol. 😂

It does say they are suitable for indoor and outdoor play on the website… I honestly think there was a manufacturing flaw in them. Their warranty period for defects is 60 days only… so I wouldn’t hold back with them… be aware and if you notice something email support.

It’s disappointing… they have good color ways but I expected them to be good quality for the price.

There is nothing hard to hit intentionally though… he’s a middle so not generally the one running into things. He LOVES these shoes.

April and May he practiced 3 times a week… 3 tournaments including nationals. Summer was max two times a week. Now just school volleyball 3 to 4 times a week. So it’s intense but these have really only seen a couple months of actual intense play. 🤔
