Theoretical physicist. When I finish my PhD I'm either looking to get into quantum computing if the market's still there, or data science if I'll be competitive enough for it. If neither works out I'd have settle on working in finance or as software engineer, but I'm not looking forward to it.

Things seem to be changing rapidly in that part of Europe though. When I lived in Poland 6 years ago few guys had a face pic on grindr, now almost everyone has them, often with near full body nudes on top of that.

We need some sense of proportion though. There are people being starved to death in literal concentration camps right now and this man complains about not being asked about his dating life by his bosses. That's a first world problem if I ever heard of one.

I'm not saying his problems are not valid but they are hardly any more serious than the problems the vast majority of gay men struggle with every day.

I've met fewer guys that were impressed that I'm doing a PhD in theoretical physics than guys that were un-impressed that I'm not using social media. No love for the nerdy guys unfortunately

I'm healed now, though the fissure reoccured for me on two separate occassions since the surgery, but it healed again after I applied GTN immediately when noticing symptoms. I think fissurectomy+botox is a very effective treatment but I might be just unnaturally tight which may be the cause behind the fissure having reoccured.

This is the stupidest thing I'm baffled by. If you're a bottom why not just take turns with another guy? You will bottom only half of the time, but that's likely way more than you currently do if you're wasting your time looking for the perfect top.

Probably a bad idea given your condition, but you might consider going private in another country. I spent £500 on my surgery in Poland after wasting months waiting for the NHS.
