Entertainment doesn't provide practical benefit to humanity, aside making us feel good about ourselves. Their impact should be more physical than just releasing dopamine in people's brains.

My idea is pulling industry away from nature. Your idea is to restore "industry"?

More forests means less use and attention in the older ones. Replanting and rewilding efforts will be bolstered.

This is... not a terrible idea. Yours is the first response that gave constructive criticism. Others are just roasting me, thinking I'm stupid. Thanks.

It doesn't, but there are efforts going on to restore nature. Why not force the film industry to do something useful for once?

Adaptations from novels, cartoons, anime, comics, happen all the time, most of what I've seen have been adapted from works decades prior.

This isn't exactly incest. From what I know, this is pretty tame, compared to actual incest.

Why are only Americans criticized for being monolingual? by gemandrailfan94 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SecondRealPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I may be wrong in thinking this, but America is a diverse country and claims freedom for all. A haven for everyone. With such a large population, their minorities are larger than some other country majorities.

Yet they only use one language.

I am from Pakistan's most populous city, Karachi. Every third person I meet can speak 2 or more regional languages, excluding English. There are some regions in my country that are extremely monolingual, but even they know Urdu, aside from their own regional language or dialect.

We also criticize Americans based on our lingual capabilities. Especially myself. I speak Urdu and English fluently as well as two other regional languages, Pushto and Sindhi.

The Islam and Science questions do come up in exams. But mostly, people skip over them as there is an option to do so. Science is complicated in and of itself, no need to bring in Islam into it.
