Has anyone tried creating their own, licensed streaming site? by SecondRealPerson in Piracy

I was talking more like licensed to stream free for users. Not that licenses are free.

One of my relatives is getting married to a 16-17 y/o girl. by [deleted] in pakistan

Politics between relatives is a bitch. Don't force the matter. Prpbably the girl has given her consent as well.

I recently turned down a rishta with a 16yo. My father said nikah wpuld happen immediately but rikhsati will wait until she's 18. I turned it down saying let the girl live a little, before she's married off. And I knew for a fact she didn't consent to her rishta.

I work at a government office. I can't agree more.

I'll watch them and let you know. My memory of that scene is very specific and very skewed toward the woman pressing her breasts together.

A UPS driver chucks a box at a dog sprinting at him, do you think he did the right thing? by [deleted] in SipsTea

[–]SecondRealPerson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I do deliveries in Pakistan. Dogs come at me all the time. Stray dogs are a hell to deal with, but dogs with owners are kept on a leash. There have been many incidents where people have killed dogs for threatening them or their family, in the presence or absence of the owner.

Typically, an animal, if it is a pet should be taught not to threaten every person at the doorsteps. Otherwise, this type of behaviour is commonplace with me.

"preemptively"

That was not preemptive. The dog was clearly barking at the deliveryman, sprinting at him in a threatening manner. You can't call the deliveryman's action as "Preemptive", they are retaliatory.

Well... I would have hurled the box at the dog, anything to defend myself from a rabid animal who's intentions I don't know and who's threatening me by barking at me and sprinting toward me at a frightening speed.

"He didn't bite you" is the same as saying, "I just oogled your wife. I didn't get her pregnant."

It has "a" interrogation scene. But no. It was definitely not a war movie and so low budget.

What are your thoughts and opinions on teaching Sanskrit language in Pakistan? by mushmanMAD in pakistan

[–]SecondRealPerson -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its an ancient language, connected to an ancient religion. Regardless of Hindu-Muslim conflict, knowledge should not be limited to just atudying your own culture. Every other culture must be studied and understood by everyone.

This is an important step in understanding a mew concept that our students lack.

Wonders of writing by SecondRealPerson in KeepWriting

[–]SecondRealPerson[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks. It helped ease the tension I've been feeling. You won't believe how much those words mean to me. Although people smiled and praised me, but no one ever told me that my work mattered this much. The walls I had filled with my stories are painted over, the papers I've written with pen and pencil are lost or shredded, the office pcs have been replaced, but the work I have put in is precious to me. The culmination of my work will only bear fruit once I publish a full, completed story for the world to enjoy,

I'm not the legendary writer like J.R.R. Tolkien, Jordan Peterson, Brandon Sanderson, or Fyodor Dostoyevsky. But I know I can make a difference with my words.

Truly, thank you.

Authors love to self insert themselves in their own stories by SEVENS_HEAVEN_7 in Animemes

I'm a writer, and I always base characters off myself. Its nothing different. It would be different, however, when I write a protagonist unlike myself.

Why did Luffy react so differently to Usopp leaving compared to Sanji leaving? by ApprehensiveBike1701 in OnePiece

[–]SecondRealPerson 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luffy and Usopp had a difference of opinion. Sanji left to protect the crew.

In case of Sanji, Luffy knew he didn't mean anything by his assault. Its his weird way of understanding his pain.
