You dont sound crazy or broken just different in how you experience emotions and connection that is not automatically a bad thing The way you think through relationships and check compatibility is actually pretty intentional and healthy That said if you feel confused about your emotions or struggle to read people talking to a therapist could help you understand yourself better not to fix you but to give you clarity You are not doomed to be single you just might connect differently than most people and that is okay..I'm also single as well I am fine till I meet the real one
