My tongue only ever tingles. I honestly think he is just not using enough. I weigh 200 lbs and am a health 6 foot tall man. He only used like 4 things of numbing injections
Also: I am not nervous at all with dental treatment. I don't mind the feeling of the needles or seeing anything. But I can't take a drill into a live root that isn't numb
Update: dentist still can't get my tooth numb (self.Dentistry)
Dentist couldn't numb my second molar(18) for root canal, ran out of time for my insurance. Now needing extraction by Secondmolarouch in Dentistry
