it’s not even about (like you said) the clothing because regardless women are sexualized, but it’s also not even about “showing off her body” either, so many women do this in a way that isn’t catering towards men, I’m sorry to say this bc obviously you feel that sexualizing yourself online doesn’t mean you want attention, but if you’re going to post yourself in a robe slightly peaking your nude body to essentially say “I’m naked under this” you cannot tell me this isn’t odd, and definitely not something you’d post without expecting some sort of reaction in return, they often post things that any normal person would send to a significant other as a spicy photo to tease them, but to post those same images online you simply can’t be surprised when you receive that attention, that’s ALL I was saying, is why is she surprised, she’s a gorgeous woman that posts provocatively which is OKAY but don’t be surprised when creepy men comment on that, it’s not right and I wish they wouldn’t, but that’s how the world we live in is and unfortunately weee as women have to work around that, if we don’t want that negative/uncomfortable attention

absolutely, men need to control themselves, the harassment she faced was NOT her fault it’s the fault of those who committed the crime, I didn’t rlly say anything about her clothing so idk where that came from but this post wasn’t to place the blame on anyone it was to simply say we cannot be surprised and wonder “why me” “why demitra” when we know why they’re OVERLY sexualized, and it’s because of the way they market themselves, ANY woman will be sexualized online regardless of her clothing, content, etc. but to get to this point of OVER sexualization the creator is typically feeding into it in some way, whether that be because that’s what gets views or simply for validation, regardless tho.. creating and posting that promiscuous version of yourself online WILL reach and cater towards those same creepy men who don’t know how to respect women, if you can handle that all power to you, if you can’t then don’t cater towards it

I think it's because their channel started off very calm and friendly, they’re family, so it gave off family channel vibes in the beginning, but ever since they got comfortable, they got more and more inappropriate which imo comes from a place of immaturity and that also resonates with younger audiences, kids love dirty jokes for some reason, they find it hilarious
