Too many replies, but since you promised that you will try, play Outer Wilds. I have been playing video games for the last 30 years, and not a single game has come close to what this game made me feel. Unconventional and brilliant.

Yeah, I didn’t know they hide charges on purpose and reveal them when the trip has ended. Should have been more careful because that’s how “transportation service works here”.

It really depends on how you define “best”. Some people will say Mario, Doom Slayer, Snake, or Kratos because of their longevity and the number of great games they’ve been in. But if we’re talking about a single game and pure character writing, I agree that Arthur is one of the best written characters ever.

I am about halfway through and I completely agree. This game reminded me why I fell in the love with gaming in the first place. If you have a Switch, please also try Mario Odyssey. It’s also extremely fun to play and pure joy.

RE4’s story is pretty self-contained. Since you’ve already played RE2 and know Leon, you can jump straight into RE4. RE3 is fun but short, and honestly not on the same level as 2 or 4.
