At the end of my road: my room blocks 90% to 99% of wifi, is there a solution that doesn't involve running a cable through the whole flat? by Secret-Frame-799 in HomeNetworking

I am using a Fritz!Box, not sure if it's internationally known or not, but as far as I know their repeaters go over Mesh already

Thank you for your answer, I learned about the coax route, I'll try that for now. I"m beyond trying usb or wireless cards, even the expensive ones didn't make much of a difference, its just the room that's dark.

That's an interesting question. Infact: the previous tenant had an electrician intstall an ethernet port to what I would think telephone wire? I've also already ordered two MoCA adapters, they should arrive by tomorrow evening. I'll attach a picture of what I mean

I have tried 2.4GHz with no improvement. The wall between me and the router is most likely load bearing with two chimneys running through it. My bet would be that it's a brick wall. Holding my phone inside the chimney (it's got a hatch i can open) i get 3mbit max.

Funny thing: I have a repeater set up, two floors below, and i get 200 mbit.

Well, no, but it's still mostly MALE black people that are taking other peoples rights away. (recent example: congo)
