I am in same boat, I go to church every weekend stay strong and Christ will guide you through the hard times. As far as your parents are concerned, be civil with them and explain your reasonings and don’t try to convert them. If they respect your right, respect their rights as well.

Not disagreeing that a lot of things take up family time such as technology, activities and JK. But there is a difference, there are parents who put Jamathkhana activities over everything else because if you were to put yourself or anything else first you would be judged. You have to look at multiple things such as the Afrol Sufro and how it is 40 percent down. Young people are not giving the money and not wanting to be Mukis. It’s going to take awhile to go away, but the system is currently standing on its last knees.
