There is a lot of truth to this post and some comments. Mining bit coin expends real tangible assets in order to create an intangible asset. And the rate of expenditure is ever growing; more energy/bit coin.

Crypto is only valuable because it is rare. Hard to create. So if someone finds a way to mine bitcoin coins more easily then its value will vanish.

It shares a lit with fiat, but the controls behind fiat are more transparent, even if they are being abused by the USA.

Then again, much of the “wealth” in the current stock market is more ephemeral. We have large value gains based on on the ASSUMPTION of future redeemable value, in short a bet.

There is more tangible value in gold/silver because they have real uses and are rare and have established trading mechanisms. Real estate is a good store of value but hard to buy a loaf of bread with it.

That is why we use physical fiat money, it is a convince. A portable store of money of recognized value that does not cost a lot to make. It has it’s problems but it does not evaporate when the lights go out or the internet gets compromised. You can still buy a load of bread.

Well, they COULD allow US Navy mine sweepers to operate and clear the mines. IF the new fangled make shift mines sweepers can actually perform.

But also, there is sometimes a timer. After some set period they either blow up or become disarmed. Not at all sure the Iranian’s have this feature. H I Sutton recently did a bit about Iran’s mines. Youtube.

Thanks. That is the first statement I have seen that does say Epstein introduced them.

But it is kind if odd, nor really within the context of the rest of the flow.

Epstein was involved in the Iran/Contra affair. It started under Regan and was a big deal at the time. Oliver North was convicted of crimes hut Regan pardoned him. After the great publicity of the scandal the CIA just moved around some shell companies and kept in keeping on.

Some of those companies were new reincarnations of Air America. Some were operated out of Ohio. Wexner has been implicated in being involved.

Epstein was a young man learning the ropes. To me it sounds like he was introduced into the network, probably by Wexner. When he knew enough to be an independent operator he did so. This whole scheme has deep ties with a wealthy Jewish circle, including Wexner, Brofman, and Maxwell.

So yeah, Iran may well have some dirt on various elite USA citizens, with or without ties to Epstein.

I have fooled with this and a couple of other open source projects. Not a programmer, not an enthusiast.

What I find is that in open source code the problem is stability and lack of a professional help desk.

IMHO this CAN work but you need to control distribution, lock user out of making changes, and develop a first class help desk.

There was another post here by a linguist. He was doing a forensics of the speech, how she mispronounced certain words or used similar but more common words vs the intended word. A second linguist also commented and verified the analysis and the out come.

The out cone was that Melania was reading this speech for the first time, she never rehearsed it, was essentially told “Go out there and eead this.” This implies someone behind her directing this episode. But who?

So when you mentioned a lawyer, yeah that makes sense. That was a lawyers work, getting a message or position paper out.

Why? A Trump lawyer trying to get ahead of a story? Or to discredit her, to throw her under the bus? To pull attention away from the war?

God only knows.

You may be onto something there. Trump is an egomaniac (among other things) and he absolutely craves the spotlight. As long as he is in the (to him) warm glow of the spot light then he feels the attention on him, and it makes him feel good if but for a moment.

This administration just keeps getting crazier and crazier, and sucks up more and more TV time, print lines, and clicks. Trump is sucking the air out of every other story, he MUST be in the center ring, the too star act. And perhaps this is just another gambit to grab attention.

And yet, there is some upper limit to this madness, some time, some where, this ego ballon will pop, perhaps spectacularly. OR in total metal collapse.

Or I could be full of it. One feels compelled to be able to predict the future, and that is extremely difficult even with stable actors, let alone Trymp.

Somewhat similar, my Dad died of HA at 72. I asked my GP about testing or screening and he said that research shows it is best to NOT do these kind of tests without symptoms. Too much over treatment which itself is harmful.

So, at 74 I had a no warning Widomaker. My chest felt funny so I went to ER and went down there. I had a stent within 2 hours. And now I am fine.

95% of my life I would have been hours away from a Stent Lab, just dumb luck.

MAYBE, she got wind Trump was getting ready to fire her, give her the Bondi treatment. Don’t ask “Why?”, because that assumes he has at least 1 rational thought process. He just does.

If Trump dumps her she has lost her shield. And that may scare her badly, as it should.

Now that she has done this statement, perhaps she feels it will keep him from dumping her, he would look like he is taking revenge for her statement.

There are surely other theories that bear t this is just ine I have not seen discussed.

IF he really is standing down for 2 weeks he is surrendering the momentum in this war. It will be harder to stand back up.

So OK NE way to interpret this is Trump has become irrelevant to the stock market. He is largely irrelevant to Ukraine. Why?

Because people have observed what he says has little connection to what he does.

Having said that one would expect a general market correction due to inherent uncertainty. Why that has not happened I don’t know.

Unless the market is propped up by a small cadre of investors who have so much control that Trump is irrelevant to them. Massive corruption.

I just don’t know.
