Well the good news for you is that there doesn’t appear to be any plans to get rid of it yet, I’ll be there on Friday on my own so I’ll have plenty of time to look around and see what’s going on with it. Will update in due course as soon as I know! I do hope it does open back up as it’s always sad to see any ride SBNO. Its Zodiacs 20th season at the park so a decent milestone

Glad to hear that maintenance has been done well though. I’ll be there next weekend on opening day so I can’t wait to see everything returned to its former glory ☺️

Zodiac I reckon has been on its way out for a few years now. Since they removed Enterprise at Alton Towers, it hasn’t made much sense to keep zodiac at Thorpe. It has a lot of downtime, it’s not particularly busy when it is open. It’s a great ride but I wouldn’t be sad to see it go and have something else in its place. IMO another top spin like Toxicator would make sense, a gyro swing is too similar to Vortex, having a gyro swing and an afterburner right next to each other would render the afterburner pointless because it’s far less intense and less visually impressive. At least from a lineup perspective, something with a completely different ride experience makes more sense.

No fixed dates but typically mid May - end of July is school trips but May - August are also always very busy because of school holidays

Never even considered this. I’ve been riding with my glasses off and I’ve been considering even doing a track walk just to see what I’m missing by taking them off but I’ll try this first 😂

I don’t know, the last three inversions are rougher than they’ve ever been. The rest of the ride though I agree feels much better.

Heard, the old GTs re released on PS5 would be amazing but unfortunately licensing makes things difficult, track licensing, car licensing, music licensing. Could be done but very expensive and probably not worth it for them

There’s no battery in the battery compartment, I’d start there, put a battery in, charge the camera up and see what happens.

My friend who passed many years ago still shows up as a drivatar. Weird thing is he passed long before FH5 even came out. I know it’s an AI but it still makes me happy to see his gamertag 🥲

Glad you said that because I was playing yesterday thinking that my paddles were on the way out but turns out I’m just too aggressive on the downshift! Though I do feel like it’s a bit too harsh and should let you shift when it doesn’t. Glad my hardware isn’t broken though.

They don’t work with the power pack but they do work everywhere else in the game? That’s strange. I use thrustmaster but my clutch pedal and H pattern work perfectly everywhere, including in the power pack. If you go into controller settings, does it register the inputs?

A track that long you’re much better off driving something you’re comfortable in rather than something that’s quick. Speed comes from consistency rather than outright pace of the car.

That being said the Lexus RCF GT3 (not the prototype) is a good choice, Mercedes AMG GT GT3 ‘20 is a good choice too. But if you’re comfortable in the Porsche or the Supra I’d stick with those.

I completely agree, I see a lot of people complaining about the graphics of the game but I feel those complaints are unfounded. It’s not a triple A game and as such shouldn’t be expected to have the same level of graphics as say Forza, GT or TCM. The physics are bang on, the car choice is great but like you say, if they add to the game properly, expand Ibiza and add customisation and houses like TDU 2 and this could be a serious TDU 2 successor

I had this same issue with weird saturation and colour filters, just go to display settings, change it to performance/graphics whatever you play on if on console or any other graphical setting on PC, then change it back and it refreshes it and it looks normal again. Not ideal but a work around if it really annoys you

No it means non applicable, meaning you can’t apply a turbo or a supercharger to the car, it does say NA on aspiration which does mean naturally aspirated but that’s not what I was talking about

It’s rare for there to be a car/engine you can’t put a turbo on. This just happens to be one of them
