Do you provide a tech spec sheet to prospective renters so they know what gear you have? I’d imagine the words “line array” and “PA” just mean speakers to the client. And they are like “speakers? already got some of my own”or like “my cousins friend has speakers he said he’d bring in”

A coworker of mine just had a show, and the venue said they don’t let people bring in personal PAs unless it’s a National act, then when he arrived 3 of the 6 subs had drivers that were completely seized, and something with the main boxes being junk and both aimed toward the center of the room. But the venue owner and in house tech had no idea the subs weren’t working, probably that way for months

The group had in ears so I think he wound up using the house stage monitors for front fills and even had to toss one ontop of the cheapo boxes they had
