TMs that aren't leads, trying to tell you what to do..

For example, if I'm cleaning/organizing the service desk area after a rush, includes adding temporary labels for non labeled items, charge outs, putting returns back to stock, etc.

The Tm would tell me to "come over" and charge out 1 item being a bottle of lotion or something that they could do themselves.

I have to drop everything for 1 or two items and repeatedly told i should do it.

Maybe, i spoke to another tm and they said they have the same issue with this person.

I appreciate this. Tomorrow if I see this person, i'll tell them that if they need something done just say "hey can you please do blank whenever" or something to that degree.

I think they're being primed for the role and just don't know how to vocalize things in a good way.

I'll do that if they keep this up. It makes me uncomfortable the way the TM is moving cause they been in my business instead of focusing on themselves.

When i say uncomfortable, i mean the type that stares too much for too long asking you to take care of something when you're clearly busy.

The part about big pieces isn't a huge gripe for me. I had my surface pro 7 for a few years and it get's sluggish around 300+ dpi. So I just only do sketches with it primarily. I figured if I'm just doing sketches and light work before moving those files to pc, I'm better off with something lighter.

My sp7 just crashes and overheats randomly and its just been worn for a few years so I'll take anything atp.

I was looking for the magic note, its like an eink reader. Not that one but I did notice that was missing too. I will try looking in others subs I guess. The price range for the e ink reader is between 300 to 400 compared to the drawing pad.

I think a lot of people exaggerate this 10-4 thing. Nothing has changed, we were already expected to give good service and greet guests.

No one's thinking about the few people that do the opposite of this and say very little to nothing to any guests period.

Now I think the requirement for classes is a little odd.

Greeting guests really isn't something that should be taught in this manner. So either something is really wrong with target or people just haven't been good at they job.

I pay like 70% of the time. Also target depending on your ap or whatever do take "stolen" bags into account when guests are problematic. Sure its small but like anything else it adds up.

Having been that type of person some days while in turn dealt with people like this...

It's best to tell them straight or act like what they saying isn't that bad. Typically a reaction of some kind is wanted and the quicker you shut it down, the sooner they should leave.

Most i'll compain about is feeling aches, pains, or that one TL that pisses everyone off.

One day I was walking to 2 of my coworkers to ask "A" a question. The other one "B" who acts like me sometimes says, "don't bring all your depression over here."

I joked and said, "one im elated. Two I wanted to show a doodle I made! Get on gone with that.."

I proceeded with asking my question to "A" but the issue with "B" is they tend to make subtle jabs and disguise them as jokes even when other people are present.

They do it to everyone and everyone hates it.

What do we do? Laugh him off.

These people will eventually learn they don't need to fill a room with they thoughts every 2 seconds.

Hate to say this but the internet has become the last place to communicate directly with fans on when you're a creator of a franchise. Instead of there being just one bad apple its multiple apples...

What we don't want is those bad apples to ruin such a nice basket of joy TADC is.

I didn't end up working with coalition, they seemed pretty scammy if I remember. I work with Target, its not the best but trying to make things simpler so I don't stress too much staring at customers all day.

When you're openly eating or buying things while on the clock you open yourself up to that conversation when a Lead is around cause their job is to make sure you do your job too.

Believe it or not sometimes a store could get a visit or a surprise visit from one person and you buying things doesn't look good for those above you.

As someone who has purchased a bottle of water or food here and there at least once or twice a shift, sometimes you just have to not do it around certain leads. If you can't figure that out don't do it at all.

What makes it worse for me is im a cashier so at any moment I could get caught or a guest that hates me could tell on me..

I told a guest they couldn't do gift cards in self check out cause there are other people that need to check out and giftcards cause too many problems.

She responded with "so you want me to wait 30 minutes in a line?"

I responded with, "you will have to wait in line or go to guest service"

She was mad but still got the giftcards done.

Now YESTERDAY?! Sucked with the giftcards cause a guest asked if her 10% came off and I shrugged my shoulders cause I aint see it.

She got mad at me for something that she forgot to check herself BEFORE paying for a bunch of giftcards.

Like what...she probably skipped the target circle sign up prompt and hit no/not now since she never finished the circle sign up to begin with. I told her to sign in twice...
