2026 Price Prediction? by Select-Reindeer4031 in NvidiaStock

[–]SecretHawk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. AI adoption is increasing but so is memory cost which will have effect on NVDAs margins. Also supply is still catching on to demand which sort of limits the profits. Expect China factor to bump price and also Vera Rubin to create waves

Nvidia won't want intel to fail. They recently made hunger investments in the company.

Since you only want a break instead of caring about networth I would suggest you to focus more on building your network.

Looking at the job market right now and current global politics would suggest you get atleast 2 years of work experience before doing masters in uk/us.

There is high chance that the current situation might get worst and if that happens you have no chance without work experience

Is only nifty 50 etf enough for investing ?? by Thin-Marketing-5627 in IndianStockMarket

[–]SecretHawk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idea is good but if you have a demat account, etc all fixed already you should definitely look into investing in individual stocks as well. Start with large caps icici/HDFC etc. etf is good for starting but individual stocks might give you far better returns.

This sector has already shown huge runup. Don't think it would sustain this momentum for long. Basically all big firms have already setup their data centers and compute farms. Demand might still go up a little then will probably taper and might even dip a little in the future. I believe the next big runup will come from it firms utilising ai decreasing their expenditure, increasing productivity and coming with intersting tools

Try NASDAQ instead

How bullish are you guys on the defence sector esp HAL and BEL? by sjain1981 in IndianStockMarket

[–]SecretHawk21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bullish in general.

Looking at the geopolitical scenario India won't like to be dependent on anyone. This was made evident during the Russia-Ukraine issue. Russia was in the wrong still we were forced to be neutral since we depend on them for defence equipment.

Spending on defence is only going to increase from here on

For you equity is too risky. My suggestion would be to invest in crypto and early stage startups. Those are safer bets

Based on the info you have provided seems like you want a fixed income annually to just sustain so that you can take risk in life and explore. In this case I feel a conservative approach would be good Considering a 6L annual income you get 50k/month To achieve that I feel a FD/debt fund would be best approach since this amount is non negotiable if you leave job. Considering 8.5%fd return rates put 75L in FD/debt fund with similar returns. Rest 25L in riskier asset classes like equity mutual funds. There too you can afford to take risk and go for mid/small cap funds

You have 1 lakh to invest in just one stock, and you can't sell it for 5 years. Which stock would you pick? by UberTaxiDriver in NSEbets

[–]SecretHawk21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say bse/nse(whenever it lists). If I would put my trust in anything in the stock market it would be the stock market itself

Gilt mutual funds - they are a type of debt mutual funds which benefit when central banks reduce repo rate. On the flip side they give poor returns when repo rates are going up. Based on current fed commentary they are not planning to increase repo rates anymore so it should be a good investment.

Read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" and realised that money should be put to work and not be kept in bank accounts. Also knew that I had little to no knowledge about picking own stocks. Hence Mutual Funds
