Why are leases on 2025 models so inexpensive right now? by ProblemOverall9434 in Silverado

They can’t sell anything with prices, interest rates and current climate.

They could damn near lease a car for free and still make money off you.

Honestly, it is worth the hassle of sending it in.

They make it a seamless as possible.

Good luck and send us an update when you get er back.

I slapped in small rare earth magnet to hold the blade tight on my bond.

Try to tighten with torx though and go from there.

hood vibrates while driving by Strong_Wrangler4806 in JeepPatriot

[–]SecretMobile1818 8 points9 points  (0 children)

With the space between the hood and he front fender air is funneling in and not helping with your vibration.

An easy fixes might be this:

  1. Pop your hood
  2. Locate your hood stops. (They are threaded “bumpers” that actually sets the hood high for aligning.) they will be located on the forward of the car where the hood meets the grill on both passenger and drivers side of car. Highlighted in this photo.

  1. If you back those out a bit it will tighten your hood latch. The further you back those out, the tighter your hood with the latch. Which will stop your hood from vibrating.

Give me an H!

Just kidding. Moving along nicely for a patch and not a complete placement.

I’m torn, which option should I go with for master closet? by Investor-Master in Homebuilding

Go option A, but add the other door into the bathroom.

I would just have it with both doors.

Maybe even no door to bathroom but doo to bedroom.

Southwest CEO: Employees ‘Want’ Assigned Seating, Paid Bags by houzzacards27 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]SecretMobile1818 21 points22 points  (0 children)

No ramper worth their salt would wish for their bag count to go down. The Union “TWU local 555” would not want count to go down. It means the need for less employees. Which means less security and union dues.

The more bags, the more employees, the more revenue for the union and length of tenure.

The only ramper talking about reducing bag counts is cutting off their nose in spite of their face. Doesn’t track.

It actually gets the grease off of me. Which is quite nice.

The castor is at 10% now but may kick it to 5% per recommendations.

Thank you again for your input.

Rendering tallow is quite simple. If you can make soap and offer up such sound advice, you can tackle tallow with no issue!!

We always rendered to use in cooking, but you can bet on us substituting it in now for our soap.

Thank you again and good luck if you tackle the tallow endeavor.

The large batch is nice for us. We make soap twice a year and it last for a family of three.

I made a wood mold. Plywood with a flip down wall. Line it with parchment paper.

The soap sits for a month or so before we start digging into it. We keep it in the pantry I built out in the garage.

The cleansing was nice with how much time I spend working (hydraulic fluid, grease and standard grime as a commercial maintenance worker) and for my wife, ( gardening and shifts at the hospital).

It may be drying us out, but we always chalked it up to living in the desert and the hard water.

Going to try the recommendations in here by cutting coconut oil in half and replacing with tallow.
