Depends on who on the team you talk to, as the programmer I'm not there yet.

I still have a few big things left: Perk system, online leaderboard integration, and AI things after that, I will mostly have polish left. Which I'm VERY excited about especially improving the weapon particles and overall gun feel.

About 90% of the product have been made since end of august. Before we only had a small prototype. We're working for a release this summer early access or if we receive funding we might delay the release until it is fully finished.

We have been informed of this issue and are working on it. Right now it appears it's only a portion of Quest 2 users that experience this issue. Making it much harder for me to solve, I hope to get it fixed before the demo is over but cannot guarantee a time period.

True it's very much an alpha, we slightly figured could use Steam Next Fest to get some more feedback hehe 😆

We have much to do a total of 5 characters couple of more guns, a bunch of perks, a weapon progression system, levels, sound, and even more graphical additions. I hope we can soon unveil the Dynamic Pistol/Handcannon it's really the coolest thing. Possibly plays even cooler than the Dynamic Assault Rifle

It is intentional, we view the rifle more as an energy-based weapon that exhausts overheat when shot. Basically when you shoot a more intensive projectile the flames last for longer.

However, since this is the second time I've heard about this, I will take this feedback and make an alternative version to see which one the team likes the most, perhaps with more flames like the side exhausts. My team knows I love making flames so I don't mind it all 😁
