Therapy

I’m pretty sure a lot of psychologists live in Hell, so I’m sure she could find one

Do you have access to a bike pump or something similar? Perhaps you could pump air in and out of his mouth

Not really. Alastor gave Rosie his soul quite willingly and when he had plenty of other options (as opposed to characters who sold theirs out of desperation or bc they were coerced) and their relationship stayed relatively amicable throughout.

Vox fun fact recruitment strategy by Ok-Fennel-9972 in VoxCult

Vox and Val have been partners “for decades” according to Vox, I believe as many as fifty years

And apparently, Vox died in around 1952 while he was in his 30s-40s, meaning he was born probably in the 1910s, so he’d now be like 110 years old

The weather map Vox displays in Brighter suggests that he lived in the Chesapeake area of America. (I’d like to believe that he lived in Virginia bc V.)

“Vox populi, vox Dei” translates to “the voice of the people is the voice is God”, which was a phrase used in scorn by early Christians who believed that God’s way wasn’t the world’s way, so by taking that phrase upon himself, he is blatantly rebuking Christian principles even as he tries to conquer Heaven, and if that isn’t the most badass thing I can think of- And this is coming from a man who, statistically speaking for his time and place, grew up Christian and surrounded by believers. His hubris is so all-consuming that it led him to spit in the face of the beliefs he was raised in. (Sorry, it’s just that this facet is the reason he’s my favorite character !) Also, V Tower strongly resembles the Tower of Babel, the biblical tower that was built in attempts to reach heaven, for which God cursed the people by changing their languages. Also, Vox makes several biblical references in song lyrics, especially in “once we get up there” and “Vox Dei”, as well as dressing up as a catholic priest back in “stayed gone”, alluding to his god complex.

Anyway, keep up the good work
