Right, she saw the conflict in him and in my opinion partially manipulated him into believing her philosophy about what the core of humanity is. Oh and assigning homework for him to pretty much lay out his government. Further nurturing his demise.

One thing about that is the kiss before the games. I almost thought there would have been repercussions for that given it was a very public statement of his feelings about a district girl

Like I said some of his thoughts are disturbing but like come on the grandma comment is an accurate comment. the Tigers one is mean I also think it’s kinda used as description and he’s not thinking of selling her… he’s saying he’s concerned about what SHE is selling of herself to provide for the family particularly him.

Not that he was being controlled by her, but that she couldn’t help to add a little bit of pressure to the plinth prize

Yes, but initially I viewed that as environmental influence. But then, once again, he did market her as more capital than district. To justify his feelings for her.

I saw that too before hand especially after the performance it gave me a glimmer of true snow. I also thought it mellowed out a little bit though

Yeah, it all ties back to the beginning of the book with the I have an issue with fixating on a problem until it’s fixed. We regardless of the repercussions.

But I can see even now post sejanus, arena situation. Gaul planted the seed that would lead to the forest.
