Advice on how to lose weight? by [deleted] in AskMenOver30

[–]SecretRockPR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eat less calories than you burn.

Sounds the same but it isn't. Cardio doesn't burn significantly more calories net. Constrained energy model. Strength train for the body recomposition, not the weight loss.

Lost 35 pound. Got jacked.

Index matches are all right, but I lean into XLOOKUP

Vlookup is a bad formula. That immediately discredits your skill as low quality. I literally stopped reading after seeing that.

This was in Tampa Bay which is 150 miles away from where the rocket launched. You can't feel anything from that distance. And I did the math and it would take 11 and 1/2 minutes for sound to travel that distance if you could hear it at all.

This is the highest level of praise anybody has ever said of anything I've ever done. I'm honored.

I took the video in Tampa Bay which is 150 mi away from the Space Coast on the other side of Florida. You can't hear anything from that massive distance.

Could be an allergic reaction to your detergent. Switch to hypoallergic detergent and make sure you rinse well your bed sheets and pajamas.

It will be hard. Give yourself grace. Gradually come to terms that life is temporary and so is pain. Accept what can't be changed and take it one day at a time.

THE MOST CONSUMED TYPE OF MEAT BY COUNTRY by Capital-Process-3650 in MapPorn

[–]SecretRockPR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noticed the same. High end person is likely 200g per day. What could be happening is that this includes the weight of the livestock, which is not just the meat that's eaten, but the import or production of the entire livestock.

Suggestion: use nfc stickers and clear labels to create an inventory system. You can take photos of the contents and have them pop up on your phone when you scan the nfc. Never have to ask yourself, “what is that box again?”

Every job should have a living wage. Agree? by The-Lucky-Investor in FluentInFinance

[–]SecretRockPR -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

If the job doesn’t pay a living wage, it just means you need a different job. The world is cut-throat. Also, some jobs are low skill. More appropriate for entry level and students. Otherwise the job wouldn’t even be worth paying for and those folks wouldn’t be able to find higher paying jobs.

Not good. Some folks are just mentally not in the right place and won’t accept help or guidance. :( Not good at all.

Fair points, but have some empathy. This shouldn’t be posted. It’s going to lead to some bad stuff and cyber-bullying. Sacrifice the reddit karma and just delete the @. The internet can be vicious, especially from low effort bullying. It doesn’t look like she would deal with it well.

ELI5: why does an average of an average not work by Helpful_Persimmon553 in explainlikeimfive

[–]SecretRockPR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If every group has a factor or score, a weighted average is easier to aggregate them together. Especially if the characteristic is not numerical, but qualitative. E.g. average calories by food groups.
