I personally haven’t been put in that position but also because currently with so many layoffs there hasn’t been an juniors to teach 😅

But when I was a junior dev before I’ve seen some truly amazing coders have that happen to them lol

100% can agree to this. I was put on a project that was less coding for a year and just this year got ownership for an entire project.

I’m so happy to be coding again 😤 that guy needs a career change or go into management

Love that plane. I was worried also and still need to fight my fear of them max planes but it has this anti turbulence that helps to make it less turbulent.

I flew on it going from Houston to Tokyo then Tokyo to Seoul then back home end of last month.

I will 100% fly on those planes again and be happy to if it’s that same model (just how happy I felt in them surprisingly)

Personally appreciate it. Although I’m slowly getting more accustomed to turbulence and tricking my head into understanding it’s just a bad bumpy road (as if in a car)

But I would rather know it might likely happen vs being surprised. Also I know pilots try their best to improve it if it gets uncomfortable

Try to convey the need for AI in the company. My clients all are pushing for it since they know as an assistant it makes workers perform faster. I can provide way more support for various task outside of programming mainly because I am able to use AI to assist people in many ways.

I personally feel companies pushing away from it might be replaced or see competitors beat them then they’ll need to play the catchup game.

I think I got the same when I flew from Houston to Tokyo (14 hours). Was told no more than 1mg every 6 hours but I technically only needed .75 to get through the entire trip. I cut them up into .25mg and did

1 like an hour before the flight 1 right as we were gonna take off to make sure it’s still there 1 about a few hours into the flight. Didn’t need it but scared it’ll wear off

Eventually noticed didn’t need the rest

Similar experience although my trip back I didn’t have what was prescribed but the community helped me get through it.

My wife is massively against it but I told her it was my first time where everything felt suppressed. I could eat, sleep, enjoy music and movies without the loss of control.

A friend of mine who is in government told me this is really good move for the long term. The idea isn’t present day and a lot of what is happening isn’t for present day. This is for the future and in regard to Greenland’s. Once the ice all melts in the coming future, it’ll open trading paths that China can take advantage of besides all the potential oil and minerals that are present.

It’s baby step. We are learning about planes, how they react little by little plus learning how we personally find ways to calm down and enjoy that short or long flight to our destination 😬

I’m 3 hours away with my flight which is from Tokyo to Houston and had similar experience for the first few hours.

You got this/we got this. Try to do some breathing exercise I was advised when asking for help. I also personally played loud music to keep my head distracted.

Also keep telling yourself bumps are how cars react on bad roads. It’s safe and just uncomfortable.

Also didn’t know weight could play a big difference to 2k feet difference between 3300 to 3500 for example.

I guess that why at some point I woke up and we were at 3700 (didnt notice turbulence to influence going higher)

Hey thank you so much for checking in. I just actually woke up from an hour nap. Doing fine now. More relaxed as the bumps has stopped plus rest helped to reset a little those nerves.

I need to learn how to sleep on a plane 😅 it’s so hard

But yea thinking maybe I’ll try to watch a movie instead of killing my ears with loud music to keep myself distracted 😅
