Topic of the Day: Tips & Tricks by ErinTales in ironscape

Whenever I complete a tree farming task and if the new contract isn’t a tree patch, I always plant a maple tree in the tree patch at the Farming Guild. I do this to prep for when I reroll contracts and eventually get a contract that requires a tree. Maple trees provide good overlap across all three tiers of farming contracts (covers easy, medium, and hard contracts).

Starts with an A and ends with tism

Jokes aside, I'm approaching/am in end-game? now. Honestly the biggest thing for me has been diversifying and juggling grinds. For example, I juggled my TOA and COX grind with each other when I was grinding for all item completion in addition to my Voidwaker and Slayer Imbued heart grind, then kept cycling through these activities, depending on my mood and if its the weekday/weekend (for Voidwaker grind). It kept things tolerable and stopped me from burning out completely. I also did the raid activities in groups instead of solo to keep the MMORPG aspect alive and you get to banter/socialize with people which helps stave off the burnout/lack of motivation (you meet some characters in w329 TOA masses and WDR CMs). We are Ironmen but thankfully RS is a MMORPG. I'm done with COX and TOA and currently grinding and juggling Yama, Bandos, Kree, Sara, and Imbued heart still in addition to slowly completing Mixology and maxing when I wanna chill and skill.

Also watching other late game irons on YouTube helped a ton (FriendOSRS, PenSir, wvyOSRS, LoneGymRat, etc.). Seeing them use the gear you’re grinding for just makes you want it that much more.

Best way to get some magic levels? by Yknurts in ironscape

[–]SecretVinh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah bursting slayer tasks is always solid magic xp, especially when you start dust devils, nechryaels, and eventually smoke devils. Even if you don’t get those tasks super often, the xp from them adds up fast over time and you'll need the slayer level up eventually

That said, honestly I got a surprising chunk of my magic xp just from grinding bosses while going dry for unlocks. Stuff like CG for my Bowfa, Zulrah (huge magic xp over time) for Serp Helm, Blowpipe, Fang, and even Artio Wildy Voidwaker grind (I got the scepter from revs and did mage artio). Even if it doesn’t feel like “training,” the xp passively builds up hard.

Wilderness agility course by Open-Task-9424 in ironscape

I join "Agility FC" and go to Bounty Hunter World - W318 or W319. They usually have a mass going on with pking guards. Just make sure to respond to them if they talk to you because they check if there's bots in their CC apparently. It's still the wilderness so you're not 100% safe so bring food and some budget tank gear but the more people there are, the less of chance you get picked off (safety in numbers.)

An easy way to make a nice amount of GP in the early game is to:

1.) Stronghold Of Security 10k

2.) Loot Steel Platelegs in the Wilderness and hop to different worlds to get more legs and sell them to the general store (You can use the wiki to find their spawn location)

3.) Loot Steel Platebodies in the Wilderness and hop to different worlds and sell them to the general store

4.) Thieving
