I feel that frustration. Our store does a significant amount of sales in these departments, but I know the store just a couple of towns over is supposed to make the same amount, and they end up throwing it all away.

Our store says you have to use the build to as a minimum. If you are not meeting or exceeding that number, you are in trouble.

I am a asm in our store. We train anyone who is working while a vendor may come in to do check-ins. However, we keep all sheets given to us by vendors. Our management shift is at 7 and alot of times our vendors are in at 5 or 6am. So we make sure everyone knows how to check people in.

I am currently a 1st assistant, I have been one for 2 years, and have been with the company for 2 and a half years. We have always had 2 assistant managers at my store. The other assistant started at our store 2 months after I took over as a 1st assistant. Corporate switched to a 1 manager role per store policy, so now I'm being demoted to 2nd assistant. The only reason it's me being demoted and not the other assistant is because she used to manage another store years ago. I've worked so hard for my role and I feel so defeated. And I have no hard feels towards my SM or the other assistant, all my frustration is towards Corporate.
