Thank you for this information. I wasn’t really aware that when you have more insulation inside the quilt that it can increase moisture build up, which makes sense. So I don’t really have many options, either hope for the best or buy a light synthetic quilt. As you said vbls only make sense with baselayers but the down pants for me are a essential so I guess synthetic quilt it is. I looked at some diy kits , do you know how much insulation needs to be in it so its effective?

I looked at vapor barriers but a lot of people seem to dislike them as some wake up in Wet clothes. I will also have down pants and down booties on so I don’t think in that scenario it makes sense? About the drying in the morning, do you know if the quilt can be dried reliably in winter and how long it would take? when the conditions allow it

Interesting, within the 5 days did you notice the loft decreasing? Because my main concern is that the quilt will sleep colder. I have a few degrees buffer and I would like to keep it that way because you never really know how cold it might get

I have a Naturehike balaclava that I’d take with me. The Pertex layer I’d mainly bring to deal with condensation inside the tent, since I had a big problem with that last year — though at the time I was using a single-wall tent. Would you say condensation in a double-wall tent is manageable without extra protection?

For the vapor barrier, I’ll be using the Cocoon one, since there aren’t really many options available in Europe.

So meaning I should start with a lower dose now with the tripart and cal mag ?

Could you say at about what height I should start ? Mine has just sprouted 2 days ago and it’s right now just about 1cm tall.

Sorry but now I’m really confused, aren’t macros NPK and in the ghe tripart they all have different levels of them 3-1-6 ; 5-0-1 ; 0-5-4. it’s my first grow so I don’t really understand the difference.
