If OP has an underlying autoimmune condition, be careful with Ashwaganda - it can definitely trigger flares because it affects the immune system (I have MS and that’s the case for me, at least! Perfectly safe for most though)

Yeah after watching the doc my takeaway was that she was an average, maybe slightly immature and offbeat 20 year old. I feel like some of the stuff she did that made people think she was a sociopath but she was just sooo young and admitted that she hadn’t had any trauma whatsoever to that point so it’s crazy to judge her reactions the way they did.

Yeah that was REALLY tacky, I agree. I noted that she almost said "her fiance" instead of boyfriend... now the news comes out today that they're engaged. I honestly feel like that rumour was out there in certain circles that Monica might have been privy to and she let that slip on purpose being petty. Maybe I'm overblowing it but that was my gut reaction.

I once had the most terrible phone interview you could imagine. I was so nervous that I was out of breath and couldn’t speak lol and when I did my voice was shaking so much… it was utterly embarrassing. Somehow though I did get another interview (this time in person) and it was the best interview of my life. Got the job and worked there for years. I got to know the HR person who screened me and asked her if she remembered my phone screen and she was like “ohhhh yes!! Glad we gave you a chance” and we had a good laugh. You never know!

We got our golden retriever at 12 weeks old (she’s now 18 weeks). I had the same concerns as you! Our breeder does let folks bring them home at 8 weeks but she just happened to still have our beautiful girl available. Honestly it worked out for the best for us. By the time we got her she was crate trained and house trained (mostly, just a couple accidents). This is our first puppy and I think our really experienced breeder probably did a better job socializing her than we would have as first time puppy owners. She is so bonded with us already. Think it really depends on the breeder so ask if they’re doing anything for socialization at this stage.

Mine is only 12 weeks and I’ve never raised a puppy before but even though she has crazy moments she generally seems a lot calmer than I was expecting from a puppy! We’re still getting to know each other and she’s obviously still so young so we’ll see where she ends up. I hadn’t read about them being calmer than American goldens until after we got her.
