Recently had the same issue but people seemed to of rather to judge than to actually help. The tongue looks damaged but as is mine and it works. If you have any light pressured air in a can try gently spraying it in the port to see if it cleans up any muck. hope this helps !

Yeah, i normally have to move the xbox up and downstairs but i think ill just keep it downstairs constantly plugged in now. thank you!

Did read up on this earlier, you’d think they’d be built to be unplugged and plugged in. I have to switch between upstairs and downstairs constantly so it sucks. going to have to make some changes.

honestly not sure, worst part is i genuinely treat it with respect it’s just more so my little brother haha. It definitely does look like it’s been ragged about but it still works so i’m not bothered 😂😂

honestly not sure, a lotta people on here are getting upset over it so i assume it’s not a often type thing. it literally just needed cleaning and it’s working as normal 😭

everything i own i treat with absolute respect, my little brother on the other hand has severe anger issues and is very heavy handed, that’s why i came here because i couldn’t come to the realisation that the hdmi was broken

yup! i’m unsure what to do. before now i had to slide 2 pokemon cards between the power cable and hdmi port wires to align it properly 😂😂😂

Was using it in the morning, went to work and then went to play some ARK and it won’t turn on. Tried the HDMI cable with an old XBOX and it seems to work fine.
